Employing a truly unique two-layer design, the Kelty Tru.Comfort 20 Degree sleeping bag delivers modular warmth and exceptional comfort for 3-season camping.
The bag is insulated with Kelty’s ThermaPro, a synthetic insulation that is easy-care and maintains its high-loft softness and insulating properties over time. Unlike down fill, ThermaPro retains most of its insulating capabilities even when wet, making the bag a good choice for overnight adventures wet or damp climates. Both the shell of the sleeping bag and the lining are made of 50D polyester taffeta.
Where the bag really stands out from others is in its layered design. At a glance it looks like a fairly traditional bag, though an innovative zipper that cuts across the face of the bag just above the footbox hints at the Tru.Comfort bag being something out of the norm. When you peel back the top layer, you discover an internal blanket that bolsters warmth when temperatures dip, but can serve as your sole top cover when the mercury rises. Two-way construction on the bag’s zipper also creates venting options.
Other features include an insulated oversized, adjustable hood, sleeping pad security loops, and hang loops for convenient storage. A stuff sack is also included.
The Kelty Tru.Comfort 20 Degree sleeping bag is available in Regular (fits up to 6’ 0”) and Long (up to 6’ 6”) lengths.

Real Customer Reviews
- great bag for people who don't like sleeping bags
Likes: I bought this for my boyfriend who hates sleeping bags. He wanted something that wasn't constricting and this was the best option. He slept comfortably with the main bag unzipped, and just the blanket over him. Love the options here!
Dislikes: Bag is a bit noisy. The drawstring cord on the sack it came in doesn't stay synched.
- Great bag for side and stomach sleepers
Likes: The design and layered feature of the bag is awesome. It allows me to sleep in multiple temperatures in comfort. I sleep on my stomach and to find a colder-temperature non-mummy bag is great.
Dislikes: The layered feature takes some getting used to.
- Awesome sleeping bag
Likes: Very comfy, love the "extra" blanket and ability to let feel hang out on warmer nights
