Ideal for family car-camping, the Kelty Trail Ridge 6 tent delivers reliable 3-season performance at a budget-friendly price. The Trail Ridge 6 offers easy set-up and room for 6, provides excellent ventilation and even allows you and your family to stargaze on clear nights.

Four DAC aluminum poles give the Trail Ridge 6 a sturdy frame and color-coded clip construction makes it easy to identify which pole goes where. The freestanding design allows you to pitch the Trail Ridge 6 and then move it around your campsite to find the optimum position, eliminating an uncomfortable night's sleep over an exposed root or rock. Stakes are included to secure the tent in place.

The Trail Ridge 6 provides 80 square feet of interior space and 6 feet of overhead peak height. Internal storage pockets and gear-loft loops provide places to stow gear and maximize available floor space. Two vestibules offer 44 additional square feet of exterior storage space for wet or muddy shoes and gear.

A mesh ceiling combines with venting in the rainfly to provide great airflow, preventing condensation build-up on the interior of the Trail Ridge 6. The PU-coated polyester-taffeta rainfly keeps the interior of the tent dry and provides UV protection. Kelty's patented ArcEdge construction lifts the taped, floor seams up off the ground, eliminating potential for leaks.

An optional footprint (sold separately) further protects the Kelty Trail Ridge 6 against ground water, roots and rocks.

Likes: Last spring I purchased the Trail Ridge 4. I purchased the TR6 to have more room for a longer camping trip. Kelty doesn't let me down: The TR6 is easy to install and well constructed.

Dislikes: I like everything about the TR6.

Likes: I was impressed when opening the box and looking at the components. I was impressed by the quality of the poles, which are aluminum and thicker and sturdier than the ones you get with lesser quality tents. As far as the tent goes, very impressive. I am coming from a brand new coleman tent that leaked so the differences were night and day. The entire top of the tent is high quality no-see-um mesh. The rest of the tent has a very high quality feel to it and when the raincover is on, was waterproof even during a downpour. Kelty now has a customer for life.

Dislikes: Nothing

Likes: Love the quality of this tent. Fast easy set up with rigid aluminum poles. Large enough for 2 queen size air mattress with a little room for gear. Holds up awsome in bad weather with no leaks and is well vented on hot summer nights.

Dislikes: I liked everthing about this tent.
