Ideal for cost-conscious campers, the Kelty Trail Ridge 4 tent delivers reliable 3-season performance at a budget-friendly price. It offers easy set-up, room for up to 4, and provides excellent ventilation in hot and humid conditions. An included footprint delivers bolstered protection and adds value.
Hubbed aluminum poles give the tent a sturdy frame and color-coded clip construction makes it easy to identify which pole goes where. The freestanding design allows you to pitch the Trail Ridge 4 and then move it around your campsite to find the optimum position, eliminating an uncomfortable night's sleep over an exposed root or rock. Stakes are included to secure the tent in place.
The Trail Ridge 4 provides 57 square feet of interior space and a 59” overhead peak height. Internal storage pockets and an included gear loft stow gear and maximize available floor space. Two integrated vestibules offer a total of 28 square feet of additional exterior storage space for wet or muddy shoes and gear. A light-diffusing design on one of the interior pockets lets you transform a headlamp (not included) into an interior light.
A full mesh canopy combines with venting in the rainfly to provide great airflow and prevent condensation build-up on the interior of the Trail Ridge 4. The PU-coated polyester rainfly offers full coverage and keeps the interior of the tent dry during wet weather. Unique roll-back connection points allow you to stargaze from the interior of the tent on clear nights. Strategic construction lifts the taped floor seams up off the ground, eliminating potential for leaks. The included footprint further protects the Kelty Trail Ridge 4 against ground water, roots and rocks.

- BUY IT NOW!
Likes: This tent is beautiful! Bought it to take to music festivals and have been very impressed. You can tell Kelty really paid attention to detail when designing it. From the smooth zippers with reflective pull cords to the oversized stuff sack that comfortably holds other items, such as extra stakes, mallet and flashlight, I love everything about it. And not only is the design fantastic, but this thing really stood up to the elements. It POURED rain one night and when I got back to my campsite, this tent looked like it hadn't been touched. Well worth every penny, thank you Backcountry Edge and Kelty, would highly recommend.

- Very nice tent, with only some very minor dislikes
Likes: Once you know what your doing, and for those who already know what they are doing, the tent is super easy to set up. The reason I bought this tent after a lot of research was the included footprint, and that the rain fly rolls up to allow for a nice view of your surroundings, and lots of ventilation, but can quickly roll down for rain. I live in the Pacific Northwest and this is a real possibility most of the year, clear skies then rain etc. Because of humidity, the ground underneath us got rather wet overnight, but I had no idea until the next morning when we broke camp, the footprint was wet underneath, but the bottom of the tent and top of the footprint was completely dry. I am about 5'8" so I can't stand in the tent to my full height, but I still felt I had plenty of room inside the tent to do anything I needed to, even with two people. I like the little pockets along the bottom, very handy for storing things like my wallet, keys, glasses case etc. when sleeping. When in it's bag, the tent is very light for me to carry, even a little distance to a walk in site. Despite the very small dislikes below, I'm still giving this tent a 5 Star review, as those are negligible. This was for car camping only.
Dislikes: For someone who has never set up a tent before, the included instructions weren't terrible, but really weren't the most clear, most particular how to set up the rain fly. And the included stakes seemed a bit flimsy, as one bent easily when staking out one of the guylines. I am probably going to buy an extra set of some other stakes.
- Easy set up and worth the price
