A Backcountry Edge exclusive, the Kelty Teton 2 w/ Footprint is a nice balance of price, durability, and performance. Offering easy set-up, two doors and vestibules and a protective footprint, the tent is an excellent value for 3-season backpacking and camping.
Press-fit aluminum poles give the Teton 2 a sturdy frame and color-coded clip construction makes it easy to identify which pole goes where. The freestanding design allows you to pitch the tent and then move it around your campsite to find the optimum position, eliminating an uncomfortable night's sleep over an exposed root or rock. Stakes are included to secure the tent in place.
The Teton 2 provides 31.8 square feet of interior space and an overhead peak height of 43”. Vestibules in front of each of the two doors offer additional exterior storage space for wet or muddy shoes and gear.
A full mesh canopy provides great airflow and prevents condensation build-up on the interior of the Teton 2. The PU-coated nylon rainfly covers the whole tent and keeps the interior of the tent dry during wet weather.
Extending the life of the tent, a custom-fit footprint is included to further protect the floor of the Teton 2 against ground water, roots and rocks.

- Worked perfectly. This was my first time to do a backpacking hike and camping. It was so easy to put up.
Likes: Ease of set-up and packing
2.) well made (duh--but you know what I'm talking about...something that doesn't rival one of those CHEAP 30-dollar wannabe-tents from Target and other places)
3.) easily assembled by one person--and quickly
4.) small and light
5.) could manage under high winds and torrential downpours.
Dislikes: 1-this is very small for a two person tent.
2-the vestibule was large enough for my boots only so I had to store my gear inside
3- I had some moderate condensation issuses that probably will be fixed with the use of a better ground cloth
