A trusted backcountry workhorse, the voluminous (6700 cubic inches) Kelty Redcloud 110 internal frame backpack is an excellent balance of performance and affordability, and also features Kelty’s innovative PerfectFIT suspension. Heavy-hauling load capability, convenient access points, and an array of features combine to equip the Redcloud 110 for extended backpacking trips.

The Redcloud 110 is Kelty’s largest pack with the PerfectFIT suspension system which provides accurate on-body size adjustment, allowing you to customize your fit in seconds. With PerfectFIT, gone are the days of taking measurements and trying on various pack sizes in a gear shop to determine the best fit for your particular body (or ordering a pack online that may or may not fit once you’ve received it). The pack’s PerfectFIT accommodates torso lengths ranging from 15.5 to 21 inches. Twin lightweight aluminum stays, a horizontal anti-barreling stay, and an HDPE framesheet deliver trustworthy support. This design provides stability and load-bearing strength while avoiding the unwieldy rigidity of external frame packs. Hex mesh on the padded backpanel and waistbelt provides excellent cushioning and ventilation. Load lifter straps relieve stress on your shoulders and an adjustable sternum strap positions the shoulder straps across the chest to prevent chafing under the arms and on the shoulders.

The top-loading pack also incorporates an innovative design on the lowest portion of the packbag that provides wide access through the bottom of pack. This feature makes it much easier to get a sleeping bag, clothes or other gear in and out of the Redcloud 110 than is often the case with the compartment access on many packs of comparable carrying capacity. A zippered front panel offers additional quick access to your gear from the front of the pack. The lid of the Redcloud 110 can be removed entirely for use as a sleek sling pack. A large stretch pocket on the front of the pack is perfect for keeping additional layers at the ready.

Additional features include a front zippered pocket, zippered side pockets, a carry handle, ice-axe loops, and dual mesh water bottle pockets. A lined interior pocket and built-in tube exit make the Redcloud 110 hydration system (sold separately) compatible.

Great backpack if you need to take the kitchen sink

Likes: A great backpack if you're taking essentials and the kitchen sink. With this capacity, you can take it. More practically, a big bag for cold-weather in which you're carrying winter layering and more gear or if you're the pack mule for little ones bearing lighter loads.

Dislikes: I've seen lots of comments about the color. I wouldn't have chosen this color scheme but it's not that bad. I think I'll actually come to appreciate it's unique color when out with 50 scouts and I either need to be easy to find when wearing the pack or I want to find my backpack easily among the pile when unloading the trailer.

Surprising good.

Likes: Just about everything, easy to put on and take off (3 pack handles that I could find), carries quite a bit of weight, super tear resistant (some of my gear should have ripped through it already (poor packing on my part), many many large pockets I think there's about 8 of them (still find new ones), detachable top becomes a sling pouch that is amazingly handy, PerfectFIT suspension, front zipper pocket to easily access the main gear compartment , the color... so many people have given this pack a bad review just cause its color I happen to love its color(it actually isn't as bright or as ugly as people would have you believe.)

Dislikes: If you aren't carrying a sleeping bag in the sleeping bag compartment then you need to undo the internal sling that separates it from the rest of the main compartment so you can form a decent base to pack things, only other one is the PerfectFIT system and I say that even though I happen to like it is because I still am having a hard time getting used to it.
