The Kelty Cosmic Down 20 Degree sleeping bag is designed for 3-season backpacking and camping. Lightweight, compressible down fill and an array of features make the affordable Cosmic Down 20 Degree a real bargain.

The Cosmic Down 20 Degree sleeping bag is insulated with 550-fill power down. Down has a soft, comfortable feel and continues to be the insulation with the best warmth-to-weight ratio. The feathers and fibers are renowned for containing body heat and are very easily compressed, so the Cosmic Down 20 Degree bag takes up less space in your backpack. The one downfall to this insulation is that it loses much of its ability to maintain warmth when it gets wet.

Box-baffle construction eliminates cold spots, keeping outside air from reaching the interior of the Cosmic Down 20 Degree bag. A draft tube behind the 58", two-way locking zipper, an insulated top draft collar and a contoured hood with an insulated hood baffle further enhance the thermal efficiency of the Cosmic Down 20 Degree bag. The hood utilizes Kelty's patented FatMan and Ribbon drawcords, allowing you to adjust the top or lower sections of the hood by feel even when it's dark outside. A polyester taffeta liner provides internal comfort.

Other features found on the Cosmic Down 20 Degree include sleeping pad security loops, internal liner loops and hanging loops.

The Kelty Cosmic Down 20 Degree sleeping bag is available in Short (fits up to 5’ 6"), Regular (up to 6' 0") and Long (up to 6' 6") lengths. Each Cosmic Down 20 Degree bag includes a stuff sack.

Likes: Warm, packs down smaller than my old synthetic bag. Good, snug fit.

Dislikes: The zipper can snag if not careful, but the zipper seems better than some bags I've used before.

Likes: Comfortable and warm bag.

Dislikes: Nothing.

Likes: This bag is exactly how I expected it to be. Very light, comfortable and warm. The zippers zip very easily and did not snag. I am 5' 11 and didn't feel cramped at all. Backcountry packaging even had a nice warning on the box to be careful cutting open the box to avoid damaging the bag. Common sense but a nice touch.

Dislikes: Nothing at all.

Likes: Very warm, great value for the buck. Nice and warm

Dislikes: Wish it had anti snare zipper.

Likes: Really warm. Works really well with a decent sleeping pad. The loft in the down is not great on the part you are laying on so is important you have some other insulator to keep you warm.

Dislikes: Had some difficulties while hammock camping with the draft tube getting caught in the zipper, but the fabric is pretty durable so not really a big issue. I also wish it came in more colors, the red is very bright out in the open.

Likes: The first trip I took it out on it got down to about 40 and I didn't even have to zip the bag all the way up to stay warm. So much better than my old bag, I think I will definitely be comfortable sleeping at 20 in this bag. It is really compact too. I was able to get my bag, pad, and pillow in my sleeping bag compartment.

Dislikes: No complaints, great product. Worth the money.

Likes: The bag is extremely light, and durable for its price. I've tried to look for a good down bag for 20 degrees spec, and this one fell right on it. It's very warm (I used it during late Spring/Early Summer), but it's definitely OK by opening up the zip a little to vent, so it's not too warm inside.
