A great entry-level alternative to the low-end tents found at many big box retailers, the Kelty Acadia Tent Series offers two doors, two vestibules and plenty of overhead room. The Acadia Tent Series is truly a cost-effective option for family campers and first-time backpackers.
A great entry-level alternative to the low-end tents found at many big box retailers, the economical Kelty Acadia 2 can serve as a basic camping tent for two people or a durable backpacking tent for first-timers.
The Acadia 2 provides 32 square feet of interior space and internal storage pockets provide places to stow gear and maximize available floor space for sleeping or playing games on a rainy day. Two doors offer easy entry and exit points and two vestibules, of 13 and 10 square feet (23 square feet combined), offer additional exterior storage space for muddy shoes or a protected area to store fire wood or camp chairs in wet weather.
NOTE: The Acadia 2's fiberglass poles are heavier and more fragile than aluminum poles, but wrapped construction makes them stronger than the fiberglass poles found on many department store tents. A third brow pole, constructed from DAC Hybrid aluminum, and continuous pole-sleeve construction help to reinforce the structure and support the rainfly of the Acadia 2.
A full, mesh canopy allows for good ventilation in warm, humid weather and the ArcEdge floor design with taped seams protects the floor for the Acadia 2 tent from wet weather. An optional footprint (sold separately) further protects the floor of the Kelty Acadia 2 camping tent against ground water, roots and rocks.

Likes: Very easy to set up. Color coded tabs are nice. Tarp comes all the way down to keep you warm and dry. Other selling points were the Two doors and two vestibules for storage. Haven't had this in wet weather so can't speak to that. Great deal for a two man tent under $100. Have had great experiences with Kelty products. Back it up with BCE's customer service and it was a no brainer. Heavy for back packing standards but for short weekend hikes it won't be an issue. I think it's a good first backpacking tent.
Dislikes: Poles are fiberglass so are pretty heavy. Also, the tent tarp only has one, very small, vent. Not sure that will be enough to avoid condensation. Tight squeeze for two people, but perfect for one or one adult and one child. Got mine for backpacking with the scouts, so it's just me and my son. Overall a great buy.
*Very easy/fast to install and taking apart.
*Waterproof+Windproof (tested on real rain in Bryce-N.P)
*Good for couple
*All Zippers on both sides (inside and outside)
*Recommend to buy TENT COVER underneath the tent, Footprint (keep bottom longer)
*Vestibule are small (for me)
*52INCH width, that means I did not found any Inflatable mattress for couple in this size!
