- Great traction device
Likes: Excellent on ice and light snow. True to size as well, size 13 boots were a perfect fit in XL.
Dislikes: Ice balling in deeper snow, but I can't fault them for it because these style crampons have their limitations.
- Southern CA, will be used for Baldy, San Jac and Old Grey Back, San Gregorio, the tallest mountain in Southern CA.
Likes: In comparison with Kahtoola microspikes the Hillsound crampons teeth have a greater depth and its wider base tapers to sharp v points which gives the wearer greater secure traction on ice and snow
- Great Product
Likes: Fits boots well - sized appropriately, velcro strap secures crampon to boot maintaining placement, grips ice securely with no slippage, polyester storage bag is a nice bonus

Dislikes: They are a bit heavier than many microspikes, but provide great traction.
- Well made
Likes: I do not have much experience with micro spikes so not sure if they were a great fit or not, however they were very well made and easy to put on. I would look to this brand for other products.
Dislikes: Felt heavy, but Im used to summer hiking. Winter gear weight can add up.
- Excellent quality
Likes: Easy to apply, great traction, convenient carry case to protect gear, Strap across top of shoe for extra support (which a lot of crampons don't carry)
- Great design
Likes: Overall exactly what was needed is packed ice snow. Go get a pair of these with a combination of snowshoes.
- Good solid piece of gear
Likes: Solid construction, nice fit, versatility is a great feature. They will fit virtually all styles of boots/shoes.
Dislikes: My only complaint so far is the don't come with a storage pouch, but this is no way a deal breaker for me.
