Soft, warm, lightweight and packable, the Ruff Wear Highlands Bed allows your 4-legged backpacking companion to enjoy nights in the backcountry. Durable, water-resistant, quick-drying shell fabric protects the bed from wear and tear while high-loft synthetic insulation insulates against cold ground temperatures.
Despite providing a sprawling 35" x 26" x 1" sleeping base, the Highlands Bed packs down to just 12" x 4" and stashes inside its very own stuff sack. At a weight of just 12.7 ounces, the bed is ready for life on the trail. It’s even small enough for your dog to carry it in his or her Ruff Wear Palisades Pack (sold separately). Four integrated stake out loops allows you to secure the machine-washable Highlands Bed to the ground and come in handy for hanging it up to dry or for storage after you've returned home from your adventures. For the ultimate sleep experience, pair it with the Ruff Wear Highlands Sleeping Bag and Landing Pad (both sold separately).

Real Customer Reviews
- Lucy loves it
Likes: Compresses well and fits in our dogs saddlebags. Easy to clean and the dog enjoys laying on it. We only bring the dog during the summer/fall so no idea how well it insulates. Would buy again, in fact we are planning on getting another one once our puppy is ready to go too.
- The dogs love it!
Likes: Relatively light, easy to fold and pack.
My dogs really like to curl up on it at the end of the day. I used it with the RuffWear landing pad but it can be used by itself. The material seems durable enough and it sheds dirt and dog hair easily.
Also protects the floor of my tent from paws and gives me peace of mind knowing that they aren't laying on cold, damp ground.
Dislikes: Wish the sleeping pad flap on the bottom had a zipper or more Velcro to keep it closed to keep leaves and sticks from getting in.
