Likes: I like this set because it give you a good value and performance. i choose the stainless steel cause I can use on a open fire if i need to without worry to ruin the pot, it cleans very easy. The bowls and the cups are a great add, the insulation on the cups works very well and the pot has enough space inside to store your fuel canister and stove.
Dislikes: The handle has no insulation and can get very hot when used on an open fire, I solve this issue by using a handle cover used on cast iron pans. GSI should not have included the the spork, they are very low construction quality, they feel like can break at any time, and if they didn't come with pot you would think are made by a different company than GSI. Improve your sporks or take them out of this set GSI.
Likes: Sweet little cook set. I liked everything about it. The stainless steel is very nice.
Likes: Not the lightest but I knew that before I purchased it. Very adequate for two persons. Perfect size pot to boil water for two meals and a desert. The bowls are big enough for a meal for two. I haven't tried to drink coffee with the sippy lids.........rather use a mug. Fits together nicely.
Dislikes: nothing............it could used some etched markings on the inside showing liquid capacities.
Likes: Even though this is heavier than the Pinnacle Dualist, with the stainless have the capability of using it over a campfire (if my stove fails or I run out of fuel) which would ruin a non-stick pot, which appeals more to me than a 4oz weight reduction. Nests together well. The entire set (pot, cups & lids, bowls, utensils, sack) weighed 25.5 oz. With my MSR Pocket Rocket stored inside (without its orange plastic case) it weighed 28.6 oz. Not bad for a capacity to feed 2 people a good meal.
Dislikes: I gave this a 4 star instead of 5 because the clip on the drawstring on the sack is kind of cheap and doesn't keep it cinched down as tight as I'd like. Also, the pot handle does not have any sort of insulation on it, which the Pinnacle Dualist does. Still, this wouldn't stop me from buying it again-as long as it's on sale =)
