The classic, award-winning Gregory Deva 60 Women’s internal frame backpack boasts a wealth of access points, an array of trail-worthy features and an innovative, gender-specific custom-fit suspension system that combine to make this 3400+ cubic inch pack a backcountry workhorse.
Addressing the different wants and needs of female hikers, Gregory's Women's backpacks cater to the woman on the go. Designed and tested by women, these packs incorporate shoulder harnesses contoured to fit the female figure and hipbelt panels built to adjust to fit women's hip angles. Reflecting the difference in male and female ergonomics, these packs also employ narrower backpanels.
Determined to avoid the failings of ill-fitting backpacks, Gregory has equipped the Deva 60 Women’s pack with the high-performance Response Automatic Angle Adjust (A3) suspension system. Designed to flex with the natural movements of your body, a “wishbone” 7075 aluminum alloy wire frame distributes weight evenly, providing superior load stability, comfort and range of motion. A composite EVA foam backpanel offers breathability and support while resting comfortably against your back. Extensive, contoured padding in the harness, lumbar area, and hipbelt further enhance both fit and comfort. A removable shim of EVA foam can be used or removed to beef up the lumbar padding to best suit your preference. The pre-curved shoulder straps and hipbelt fins move independently of one another to mirror your every movement on-trail or off. These components are available in varying sizes, allowing you to customize the pack to deliver the best fit for backpackers of all shapes and sizes. If you require customization of components, please leave detailed instructions about what size hipbelt and/or harness you need in the “Order Comment” field on the “Order Review” screen at checkout or call us at 1.800.617.0643 to place your customized order directly with one of our Gear Specialists. A sternum strap and load-lifter straps further enhance the pack’s fit and ensure the stability of your load.
A lashed divider separates the top and front-entry main compartment of the Deva 60 Women’s pack from a lower sleeping bag compartment, allowing for organization and separation of wet and dry gear. When hauling longer items or in need of access between the two compartments, you can unhook the divider and convert the pack to a single, large compartment. The extendible lid of the Deva 60 Women’s pack includes a weather-resistant zippered pocket for stowing gear and can be detached entirely to save weight. The pack has a wealth of other organizational features, including an enormous zippered front pocket, two sizable and separated lid pockets, and a smaller zip pocket on the underside of the lid.
Other features include a canted, hideaway water bottle holder, two zippered hipbelt pockets one of which is entirely waterproof, gear attachment loops, and side, cross over and lower panel compression straps. Gregory also includes a raincover for full protection against the elements. An integrated sleeve and exit port make the Deva 60 Women’s pack hydration system (sold separately) compatible. That same sleeve can be removed entirely and, thanks to its integrated minimalist shoulder strap, it can be used as a lightweight daypack or summit pack!
The Gregory Deva 60 Women’s backpack is available in your choice of colors and XSmall (fits torso lengths ranging from 14”-16”), Small (16”-18”) and Medium (18”-20”) size options.

Real Customer Reviews
- Great product at a great price
Likes: Just as described, fast shipping and great price.
- Great backpack
Likes: color, comfortable
Likes: Love the design for the backpack especially on the water bottle part.
- Comfortable and handy
Likes: Love all the pockets, rain cover. Huge holds everything I need. Even the bear canister. My old backpack was totally taken over by the bear canister. Comfortable. Great top loader with three large of pockets. The inside zippered pocket is great for stowing important items you can't afford to lose. Huge outside zipper pocket. Clips for poles work--not as easy as Osprey, but they do work. May need a little assistance from a hiking partner to use them without taking off your backpack. The compression straps clip on and off, a very good feature compared to maven. Can't beat the comfort of this pack adjustable for short people--that's me.
Dislikes: The summit bag is a waste of weight. It's too small to carry enough essentials for a day hike, although I did hike with someone who used it for this purpose. It appears you can use the straps for holding a bag or tent on the bottom of the pack to use as a waste belt. You'd have to be pretty close to the summit or have perfect weather to use this. I may leave it home next time I go backpacking. Prefer the system on the Maven 35 I bought. Removable sleeping bag divider is too small- leave it home.
Likes: Great access points; top, bottom, an inside divider and a lot of side pockets. I love that It comes with a reservoir sleeve that doubles as a day pack; this will eliminate having to pack an extra one.
Dislikes: Waterproof hip pouch is too small. My iPhone 6 will only fit without a case on it. It's the one reason I would've loved this option. Now, if it's raining and I am case-less, I won't even pull out my phone. I wanted to minus only a half a star for that (but no half star option so went with the full star deduct).
