The Granite Gear Leopard AC 58 comfortably hauls up to 40 pounds of gear, incorporates alpine-ready features and weighs in at a mere 3 pounds! Leave the lid behind and you can trim the weight of the pack to just 2 pounds, 12 ounces.

A burlier, lidded version of the award-winning Blaze AC 60, the Granite Gear Leopard AC 58 comfortably hauls up to 40 pounds of gear, incorporates alpine-ready features and weighs in at a mere 3 pounds! Leave the lid behind and you can trim the weight of the pack to just 2 pounds, 12 ounces.

Consisting of a 3-dimensionally molded/alloyed frame, a molded, breathable backpanel and supportive foam padding, the Leopard AC 58’s AirCurrent suspension confidently carries weight while delivering ventilation.   While maintaining load stability, this suspension comfortably carries up to 40 pounds while combating heat and moisture build-up. Padded shoulder straps and a padded hipbelt provide additional comfort and load support.

To ensure an optimal fit, the Leopard AC 58 is available in two torso sizes. The Regular (3540 cubic inches of storage capacity) fits torso lengths ranging from 18"-22" and the Short (3234 cu in) fits 14"-18" torsos. An adjustable sternum strap and load-lifter straps provide fine-tuned fit adjustment. You can choose from several available hipbelt sizes to further dial in a proper fit.

The main compartment provides ample storage capacity beneath the removable, heigh-adjustable lid. A roll-down, cinch-tight spindrift collar protects the contents of the packbag even if you decide to leave the lid behind. A large zippered stretch woven front pocket serves as an additional storage space and twin side mesh pockets are perfect for water bottles or other gear. A high-tenacity front flap allows you to stash gear behind it and also has two streamlined, zippered storage pockets. Daisy-chain attachment points on the flap are compatible with the Granite Gear Crampon Holster (sold separately) for true top-of-the-mountain use. Integrated attachment points on the hipbelt serve as external gear lash points and can also accommodate Granite Gear Tool Loops (sold separately).

The Granite Gear Leopard AC 58 internal frame backpack is available in your choice of size options.

Likes: Lightweight, simple, user friendly features. Carries my 30 lb load with ease. Very adjustable for carrying different size loads.

Dislikes: Nothing

Likes: I'd never heard of Granite Gear, but read numerous positive reviews.
I was looking for a pack capable of AT section hiking and took a chance with the Leopard.
This is by far the most comfortable pack I've tried.
The padding of the suspension system is outstanding.
The main pocket is cavernous and I really like the roll top feature, even smaller loads can be compressed down so they don't shift around.
The back panel is also very comfortable, coming from an Atmos I was worried about breathability, not any more.
The outside pockets are very functional, the water bottle pockets are easy enough to reach with the pack on.

Dislikes: This is being very nit picky, but would not stop me from recommending this pack, or buying another Granite Gear.
The colors are a bit unusual
