The Granite Gear eVent Sil Compression DrySack allows you to maximize space inside your pack by reducing the packed size of bulky items like sleeping bags and clothes. The waterproof 30D Sil-Nylon Cordura construction is an incredible balance of strength and weight and an integrated roll-top closure further ensures complete protection. The eVent Sil Compression DrySack has a space-saving shape that purposely takes best advantage of the inner dimensions of a backpack.

Once you've sealed the roll-top closure, you can cinch down the drysack with ultra-lightweight LineLoc compression straps. An innovative eVent air-purging bottom allows excess air to escape without jeopardizing weather protection. All seams are taped with eVent to provide further confidence.

The Granite Gear eVent Sil Compression DrySack is available in your choice of colors and 10L (5" x 7.25" x 20"), 13L (5.25" x 7.75" x 21"), 18L (6" x 8.75" x 22.5") and 25L (7" x 10" x 25") size options. Each eVent Sil Compression DrySack has its own zippered mesh storage sack that doubles as a lightweight hipbelt pocket.

  • 30D Sil-Nylon Cordura
  • 210 D Nylon reinforced lid
  • Waterproof rolltop closure with LineLoc compression
  • PVC-free
  • eVent air purging bottom
  • eVent taped seams
  • Rolling stay helps keep sack open while loading

Does what it should!
Reviewed by Anthony D. - May 11, 2018

Likes: I use this for a Marmot bag and then toss in a bag liner and puffy coat - still room for more. I was a bit concerned with the straps, but no need to be - I can really snug them down and the bottom vent ensures no air left in there.

Dislikes: None

Great Sack
Reviewed by BuffaloHiker - April 6, 2018

Likes: This is a very hearty and durable feeling compression drysack. The 4 compression straps also offer more compression and less bulge than competitors (which I have tried). All in all you get from this product exactly what I have come to expect from a Granite Gear product.

Dislikes: None.

Dislikes: takes some wrangling to get gear compressed

Excellent Compression Product
Reviewed by cu03alum - March 8, 2017

Likes: Extremely lightweight & durable; Using this for clothes so waterproofing is a must; overpacked it on purpose & it STILL compressed down & maintained function; eVent system helped with compressing so it felt like I was not putting forth a lot of effort to get it compressed fully; strap-pull design is easier than regular webbing straps

Dislikes: Wish they had it in ORANGE

Does the job

Likes: Used on an overnight canoe trip in Vermont. My down sleeping bag stayed dry despite the water that accumulated from my flailing attempt at rowing.

Dislikes: Nothing.
