Details

The Granite Gear eVent Sil Compression DrySack allows you to maximize space inside your pack by reducing the packed size of bulky items like sleeping bags and clothes. The waterproof 30D Sil-Nylon Cordura construction is an incredible balance of strength and weight and an integrated roll-top closure further ensures complete protection. The eVent Sil Compression DrySack has a space-saving shape that purposely takes best advantage of the inner dimensions of a backpack.

Once you've sealed the roll-top closure, you can cinch down the drysack with ultra-lightweight LineLoc compression straps. An innovative eVent air-purging bottom allows excess air to escape without jeopardizing weather protection. All seams are taped with eVent to provide further confidence.

The Granite Gear eVent Sil Compression DrySack is available in your choice of colors and 10L (5" x 7.25" x 20"), 13L (5.25" x 7.75" x 21"), 18L (6" x 8.75" x 22.5") and 25L (7" x 10" x 25") size options. Each eVent Sil Compression DrySack has its own zippered mesh storage sack that doubles as a lightweight hipbelt pocket.

  • 30D Sil-Nylon Cordura
  • 210 D Nylon reinforced lid
  • Waterproof rolltop closure with LineLoc compression
  • PVC-free
  • eVent air purging bottom
  • eVent taped seams

Likes: Used on an overnight canoe trip in Vermont. My down sleeping bag stayed dry despite the water that accumulated from my flailing attempt at rowing.

Dislikes: Nothing.

Likes: Waterproof, plenty of room with a square base that makes packing easier. Durable material. I got it on sale, so definitely worth the price.

Dislikes: It was more of a DrySack than a Compression Sack. I bought it to compress my sleeping bag, but it didn't reduce its volume much.

Likes: Great shape and the clips seem solid.

Dislikes: Smells awful until you break it in.

Likes: Light weight and a great compression sack!

Likes: I really like how it is more rectangular in shape. It makes packing a breeze. I am sure ill be purchasing more as needed in the future.

Dislikes: Nothing

Likes: Lightweight for the 25L capacity, definitely like the see-through thing going on.

Dislikes: The carrying pouch is nice, but I have not found a use for it.

Likes: I pack my sleeping bag in this. The down bag packs down to about the size of a halfway flat volleyball. Haven't tested the water resistance to the extreme yet but it's kept out moisture from things like dew, water bottle drips and one unfortunate oatmeal spill really well.

Dislikes: So far so good. No complaints

Likes: Super light, easy to use, and a great solution to keeping your gear dry.

I used the 13L to store my Kelty Cosmic 20 Regular-Sized bag with no problems. The stuff sack fits the bag with a little room to spare and kept it dry and clean.

Dislikes: The tie-down points feel a little weak so I've been hesitant to really crank down on them, but so far, they've held up fine.
