An excellent option for keeping feet dry and blister-free inside hiking or backpacking boots, ultra-lightweight Fox River Wick Dry Alturas Liner Crew socks can be worn as stand-alone socks, but are designed to be worn beneath heavier socks (sold separately) to maximize comfort and protection.
Fox River has been manufacturing socks right here in the United States since the turn of the 20th century, but they don’t rest on those laurels. Constantly striving to improve sock performance, they continue to develop and incorporate new technologies.
The polypropylene liners utilize Fox River’s exclusive Wick Dry technology to keep feet dry and protect skin from the threat of blisters by employing hydrophobic yarn to draw away moisture. Flat toe seams further ensure your ability to remain blister free.
Sold in pairs, Fox River Wick Dry Alturas Liner Crew socks are available in your choice of size and color options. NOTE: The full contents of the socks are 93% polypropylene, 6% nylon, and 1% spandex. Care: Machine wash inside out in warm water, no bleach. Tumble dry low. Do not dry clean.

Real Customer Reviews
- Soft fabric & seems well made but I could not use as size was inaccurate (3 inches too long). Rather than the Return hassle, I gifted them to someone else.
Likes: Soft fabric & seems well made.
Dislikes: Size was not accurate! Runs large! Bought a similar Fox River sock (Xstatic) in same size and fit was accurate. These, however, were about 3 inches longer. :( Could not use as they were way too big. Rather than the return hassle, I gifted them to someone else.
- Comfortable liner
Likes: I used these on summit night of Kilimanjaro underneath two pair of merino wool socks and my feet felt awesome all night.
Dislikes: None as of yet
- like this sock a LOT ... BUT
Likes: like to wear / use a liner sock... i know, i know...most don't but in the last three years and over 4000 miles on the PCT not one blister ... two things i do every day.. Body Glide on my feet & a liner sock
Dislikes: like these socks a lot after finding them on the trail ... have bought more in Lone Pine and South Lake Tahoe... but they do wear out kinda fast.. especially around the toes in a very random fashion
