The Exped SynMat Duo inflatable sleeping pad provides outdoor-loving couples with durability, comfort, and warmth for 3-season+ use.
Employing baffled air chambers, the mattress provides a plush 2.8" base of comfortable support. High-performance laminated polyester fabric is air tight, slip proof and offers both UV and abrasion resistance. A layer of microfiber insulation is laminated to the bottom and top of each baffled air chamber. The pad's 4.9 R-value is suitable for stand-alone use in all but the coldest of winter temperatures.
While the mattress does need to be blown up, the included Exped Schnozzel Pumpbag UL makes the job a cinch and also prevents potentially destructive moisture from being introduced to the interior of the pad during inflation. The pumpbag also serves as a waterproof stuff sack. Adding modular comfort, the pad does consist of two separate air chambers, so each sleeper can customize the firmness beneath them. This also allows one sleeper to move during the night without rocking the entire pad and waking her or his companion.
The Exped SynMat Duo sleeping pad is available in Medium (72" x 41.3") and Long/Wide (77.6" x 51") size options. NOTE: The width is measured at the broadest point (at the shoulders) and the pad does taper at the feet to save on weight and make it more packable.
- 2 separate air chambers create a motion buffer between the two sleepers and a backup in case one side is punctured
- Warm and comfortable microfiber insulation
- Light enough to be used as a super comfortable mat for one sleeper
- 5-year warranty

Real Customer Reviews
- super comfy
Likes: Warm, comfortable, quiet and it is so important that it has two air chamber, I can roll over and not move my wife
Dislikes: heavy and bulky, really want to bring this backpacking but it is as heavy as our 3p tent
- Super comfy!
Likes: Very comfortable, easy to inflate
Dislikes: A little heavy to pack
- Good Mat
Likes: We bought this mat to go backcountry hiking. Haven't taken it out yet but just blowing it up at the house we like it. Very comfortable and not heavy. We went with this version instead of the extra light because of our dogs and them jumping on it and not puncturing it. So far, so good!
Dislikes: No dislikes so far
