The Exped MegaMat Lite 12 sleeping pad offers maximum comfort at less weight and greater packability than traditional plush camping mattresses. Warm synthetic insulation grants the pad a 4-season worthy 5.3 R-value.
When fully inflated, the pad has a full 4.7" thickness. While it does need to be blown up, the included Exped Schnozzel Pumpbag UL makes the job a cinch and also prevents potentially destructive moisture from being introduced to the interior of the pad during inflation. The pumpbag also serves as a waterproof stuff sack. Unique flat valve construction aids in inflation and deflation by allowing a high volume of airflow in and out of the pad. A one-way design keeps air from escaping during inflation. High-frequency welded seams and strong lamination provide reliable durability and 3-D construction creates vertical sidewalls that offer amazing comfort.
The Exped MegaMat Lite 12 is available in your choice of colors and Medium (72" x 20.5"), Medium/Wide (72" x 25.6"), and Long/Wide (77.6" x 25.6") size options.

Real Customer Reviews
- Best Sleep I have had on a Backpacking Trip
Likes: Comfort and Easy to inflate / deflate
had the best night of sleep on a 9 day backpacking trip in CO. For me its worth the extra oz for the rest i got. could have stayed 9 more on this thing. well worth it if you're willing to add a few more oz to the pack
Dislikes: Wieght but i knew that going into the purchase
- Not Comparable to Megamat 10 in Comfort
Likes: This was Exped's attempt to create a lighter version of their megamat, which was what sold me. It's comfortable but not luxury like the Megamat 10.
Dislikes: Since it's fully air filled and at 4.7" high it "rattles" slightly if you move on it. I got the 20.5" wide version and that's too narrow for me and I'm pretty small at 5' and 100 lbs. I kept waking up in the middle of the night my foot would tip over it.
