The self-inflating Exped MegaMat Duo 10 sleeping pad provides couples with plush camping comfort in any season. Because of its 3.9" thickness and synthetic insulation, the mattress has a year-round worthy R-value of 9.5.
A self-inflating, open cell foam core provides a luxurious sleeping base. When you unroll the mattress and open the inflate valve, the foam responds by soaking up air, similar to a sponge absorbing liquid. Once the mattress has inflated, you can use the Exped Mini Pump (included), your mouth, or other Exped pump accessories (sold separately) to top off inflation for a firm sleeping surface or let some air out through the deflate valve for a softer mattress. A soft tricot top provides slip resistance and next-to-skin comfort. High-frequency welded seams and strong lamination provide reliable durability and 3-D construction creates vertical sidewalls that offer amazing comfort.
Glues used in sleeping pad construction are often broken down by moisture but Exped's proprietary fabric lamination process creates air tight baffles and prevents moisture build up in the pad from destroying these glues resulting in no loss of air over time. Another stand out feature of the pad is flat valve construction. Separate valves for inflation and deflation offer a high volume of air flow in and out of the pad making inflating and deflating the pad fast and easy.
Available in your choice of color and Medium (72" x 41") and Long/Wide (77.6" x 52") size options, each Exped MegaMat Duo 10 includes a stuff sack.

Real Customer Reviews
- Pretty comfy
Likes: All of it
- As comfortable than my actual mattress
Likes: A few things—uber comfortable, so much better than an aerobed or alike for extra guests, and way better than LE-edition thermarests (esp when two people are sleeping on it). Storage bag has a wide clamshell opening, making it easy to stuff. Not particularly heavy—perfect for car camping, canoe camping, etc. Not a great choice for backpacking.
Dislikes: Nothing so far—it's held up to multiple guests and multiple trips without even a scuff so far.
- Excellent mat for truck camping
Likes: Great depth and very comfortable for sleeping under the cap in my truck bed. Gives good support just like a twin mattress does. Very roomy.
Dislikes: Too heavy for any type of packing trip.
- So far so good!
Likes: We've used it once so far, and it was definitely the most comfortable camping mattress I've ever slept on.
I like that it self inflates. I can focus on my kids instead of pumping for ages.
I like the bag. It's way easier than trying to fold a mat of vinyl and put it back in a cardboard box!!!
It feels very high quality. There's no sharp vinyl welds, the fabric is soft but strong, and the seams are extra wide.
My biggest like about this mattress is that even before full inflation and sealing, it's a reasonably comfortable mattress. So I feel that even if it leaks, I'm not going to spend the rest of the night miserable.
Dislikes: So far so good!
It is a bit bulky, but I don't mind it much.
- Soft and Easy to Use!
Likes: * This pad is comfortable and gives good support.
* This self-inflates really well, and topping it off with the provided hand pump is easy!
* The dual valve makes packing this away again very simple since you don't have to worry about it inflating when you don't want it to, while rolling it up to squeeze out the air.
* This pad is thick with a well earned R-value and I did not feel any cold from the ground at all!
Dislikes: * As with any air type pad, when two users of greatly different weight use it, the lighter person doesn't have as soft or comfortable a mat, and if you deflate it to try to address that, the heavier person ends up more on the ground...this is less an issue with this pad in particular, and more of a general advisory that you may prefer two single pads rather than one duo in such a situation :)
- Forget the rest. Exped is the best!
Likes: I’ve had 2 back surgeries and have been looking for a comfortable camping mattress for years. Well I’ve found it. This is by far the most comfortable bed out there. Do yourself a favor and get it.
Dislikes: There is nothing not to love about this mattress.
