Exped Lite trekking poles are high-performance offerings for year-round hiking and backpacking. Three telescoping DAC aluminum sections give the poles a broad range of adjustability and maximize collapsibility.
The top pole sections have non-slip groove locking systems that allow for fine tuning adjustment. Internal expanders provide a confident lock so sections aren't susceptible to slippage while in use. Housed within the shaft sections, the mechanisms are protected from dirt and debris. Push button mechanisms on the lower sections make the poles easy to deploy and provide a secure lock. Together, the streamlined locking mechanisms and three individual pole sections allow Lite poles to collapse down small.
Lightweight EVA foam grips provide contoured, comfortable handholds. These textured grips extend far down the upper pole sections, allowing you to adjust where you grasp the Compact poles while eliminating the need to shorten or extend the poles each time you encounter a steep slope. Padded, adjustable webbing straps help to reduce stress on your wrists.
Carbide tips work in tandem with low-profile trekking baskets to provide the poles with optimal backcountry traction. Swappable Snow Baskets and Clip Powder Baskets are available (sold separately) for use in snow and varied conditions.
The poles are available in two size options. The 125 cm length collapses down to 22.4” while offering a usable adjustability range of 37”-49”. The 140 cm packs down to 24.4” and adjusts from 43.3”-55”.

- Awesome Trekking Poles
Likes: These trekking poles are great, I like the extended grips which allow you to change the position of your hands depending on the terrain without having to adjust the length of the poles. They are a great option for using with a tarp and are light to carry strapped to your pack.
Dislikes: I don't have any complaints so far but I'll be back to let everyone know if I do.
