Details

Made from extremely water repellent 1.9 ounce urethane coated rip-stop nylon, the Equinox Nylon Poncho w/ Extension includes an additional 14 inches of coverage in the back of the poncho to allow for backpack protection! Integrated snaps allow the extension to be folded neatly in place and out of your way when you aren't wearing a backpack. The full cut of the Nylon Poncho is longer than regular ponchos to provide full protection. A comfortably-sized hood draws snug to further protect against wind and precipitation. Reinforced, rust-resistant snaps form openings at the wrist and secure the sides of the Nylon Poncho w/ Extension.

Available in Green or Blue color options, the Equinox Nylon Poncho w/ Extension includes a reusable mesh bag with drawstring closure.

  • Made of durable, waterproof 1.9 ounce urethane coated rip-stop nylon.
  • 58" x 104".
  • 16 oz.
  • Mesh stuff sack included.

Likes: Quality poncho. Got us through many a storm hiking the AT in Maine. A little bulky -- but that's the trade off for a very sturdy poncho. Nice bright color. Recommended.

Dislikes: A little bulky.

Likes: Large size. Easily covers large pack.

Dislikes: A little heavier than desired

Likes: Does what a poncho is suppose to do, keep you dry. I like the way the extension snaps out of the way when you don't need it. Like all ponchos it doesn't keep the bottom of your legs dry in a hard rain. I like a poncho better than a rain suit because it's quicker to put on when the rain starts.

Dislikes: It seems a little lite weight, but has held up good so far.
