Designed to fit snugly under your Eagles Nest Outfitters (ENO) hammock (sold separately) and offer the warmth of a three-season sleeping bag for your backside, the ENO Vulcan UnderQuilt extends your hammock camping from early spring trips through late fall backpacking season.
Constructed from a nylon ripstop shell that’s been treated with a DWR (durable water repellant) finish to help shed dew and moisture and filled with PrimaLoft Synergy synthetic insulation, the ENO Vulcan UnderQuilt offers the bottom half of your body insulation from cold night air and wind. Sculpted and differentially cut to match the contours of the body, the Vulcan UnderQuilt attaches snugly beneath your hammock via an adjustable shock-cord suspension system that can be repositioned from the hammock for fit or for climbing in and out. Dimensions of the Vulcan UnderQuilt are 80" x 40" with a weight of 30 oz.
The incredibly compressible Eagles Nest Outfitters Vulcan UnderQuilt includes both a nylon stuff sack and cotton storage bag.
NOTE: The Vulcan UnderQuilt is designed to only insulate the underside of your body. The ENO Ignitor TopQuilt (sold separately) is designed to fit the top half of your body. Both the Vulcan UnderQuilt and the Ignitor TopQuilt must be used for complete warmth in colder temperatures.

Real Customer Reviews
Likes: Compact, light and very warm.
Dislikes: not full hammock length
- So far so good
Likes: Has kept me comfortable in low 60s, definitely feels warm enough that I'm sure in will work in colder weather. Service from Backcountry Edge is excellent.
Dislikes: Wish it packed smaller and weighed less, all I had to do was spend money for down, not bad for price.
- Keeps you warm.
Likes: I have used the Vulcan under quilt twice now with my ENO SuperSub Hammock and it kept me nice and warm in 45 degree temperatures.
- Warm and soft, but kind of short
Likes: Soft, warm, very comfortable, cool colors
Dislikes: I'm not even a tall person (5' 2") but I can barely fit in this. Either my feet or head is somewhat sticking out, but it's not a deal breaker
- Great product
Likes: Kept the chill off, packs up light'n tight, and works great with the Hennessy Hammock.
Dislikes: None so far... Thumbs up!
- Not as advertised
Dislikes: Its a pain to set up on the ENO doublenest. It is lot long or wide enough to give comfortable coverage. Their ember 2 product is far easier to use and works great. BE's satisfaction policy is killer and allowed me to exchange it for the ember.
Likes: This under quilt worked great for me in 20 to 30 degree weather it kept my back nice and toasty
