Ideal for thru-hikers and ounce-counting backpackers, the roomy Eagles Nest Outfitters (ENO) SuperSub Hammock weighs just 9.8 ounces and packs down into its included 4" x 4" stuff sack. Despite its trim specifications, the hammock safely supports up to 300 pounds!
The 9' 4" x 6' 2" dimensions of the hammock are broad enough to accommodate two but best serve as a sprawling sleeping surface for one. The hammock itself is constructed of durable, breathable, and fast-drying 30D nylon taffeta ripstop and super strong Dyneema line. Integrated aluminum hanging toggles allow for integration with the ENO Helios Suspension System (sold separately).
WARNING: As accidents can happen, do not exceed the maximum weight of 300 pounds and do not hang your hammock more than 18 inches above the ground. Always make certain that the surface beneath your hammock is free of rocks or sharp objects.
The ENO SuperSubHammock is available in your choice of color options.

Real Customer Reviews
- very lightweight
Likes: I bought this hammock to take on backpacking trips to have a place to relax off the ground. I did not buy it to sleep in. So far, I've only tested it in my backyard. It requires a different type of strap called Helios. This works differently than other tree straps, but I like it. It is also very lightweight.
Dislikes: None yet.
- Compact and lightweight
Likes: Paired with the Helios XL suspension system makes for a highly adjustable, comfy hammock setup at total weight of 1lb.
Dislikes: None so far.
- Great lightweight hammock
Likes: I bought this hammock for my 12 year old son in order to lighten his pack for longer backcountry trips. I liked the weight and feel so much that I ordered one for myself as well. I am an ounce counter, but do not like to sacrifice comfort. I was tempted by the eno sub7, but did not like the more narrow design. For just a few ounces more, this hammock has close to the width of a doublenest with only a fraction of the weight and pack size. This hammock is another quality eno and seems to be durable enough to last for years to come.
Dislikes: The only minor complaint would be the toggle attachment system. It is really only compatible with the Helios straps, but if you are going lightweight that should be your next purchase anyhow.
- Pretty much ENO
Likes: Lightweight, durable, comfortable and great for bikepacking
Dislikes: The integration with ENO under quilts could be better
