Designed to be used with SingleNest or DoubleNest hammocks, the fully adjustable Slap Strap suspension system by Eagles Nest Outfitters (ENO) allows you to easily hang your hammock almost anywhere without any knot-tying ability.

Designed to be used with SingleNest or DoubleNest hammocks, the Slap Strap suspension system by Eagles Nest Outfitters (ENO) makes set-up easy and provides a secure berth for sleeping or lounging. Fully adjustable, the SlapStrap allows you to hang your hammock almost anywhere without any knot-tying ability or the hassle and weight of non-cooperative rope.

Using the SlapStrap suspension system is easy and allows you to set up your hammock in no time. Simply wrap the SlapStrap around a sturdy object, pass the end back through any one of the SlapStrap's six integrated loops, pull the end tight to provide maximum tension and attach to your hammock. Two SlapStraps work in tandem to allow you to take advantage of contacts points up to 20 feet apart! Though the SlapStrap was designed specifically for use with ENO SingleNests and DoubleNests, it can be used with virtually any hammock.

The SlapStrap's soft UV-treated nylon webbing holds up to wear and tear and, unlike traditional ropes and lash straps, the SlapStrap doesn't cause damage to trees when cinched into place.

WARNING: As accidents can happen, do not exceed the maximum weight of 400 lbs. and do not hang your hammock more than 18 inches above the ground. Always make certain that the surface beneath your hammock is free of rocks or sharp objects.

The ENO SlapStrap is sold in pairs and includes a stuff sack with drawstring closure. NOTE: The color of the stuff sack may vary.

  • Quick setup, fast take down.
  • One-inch soft UV treated nylon webbing.
  • Completely adjustable.
  • Tree friendly.
  • Sold in pairs.

Likes: I was a little dubious about needing these but they do make set up and take down extremely quick.

Dislikes: They seem a bit pricey but in the long-run, probably worth it.

Likes: I needed something that was easy to set up, would not damage the tree, and would support my weight (I'm a real big guy). These straps met all that criteria; money well spent.

Dislikes: Nothing

Likes: Strap work well and make the set-up quick and easy.

Dislikes: Connecting loops are a bit far apart. There are times when they allow a bit more slack than would be desired. However, not a real problem for the ease of set-up.

Likes: This makes hanging the hammock a snap. There are plenty of adjustment loops and the straps should fit most trees. I believe you should not even consider hanging the hammock another way,it makes it so easy and quick. Does not take up much room at all in a pack.

Dislikes: Could probably have the adjustment loops a bit closer together, but not a real problem.

Likes: Well designed. Quick to use.

Dislikes: I wasn't pleased initially that I had to buy this to go with the hammock but it's so convenient I'm glad I got it.

Likes: I like the convenient stuff sack the ENO Slap Straps come in. Easy for packing and finding. I also like the convenience of the slap straps to fit around any size shape object without having to tie knots or rig up a rope for your hammock.

Dislikes: The slap straps do have a lot of give. More so I've read than other ropes you may rig yourself. So, it is best to set your hammock up high. Over part of the day you may find your butt almost to the ground.

Likes: strong to hold two people

Dislikes: wish they had the loops closer together

Likes: It allows me to set up my double nest with ease and it doesn't do any damage to the trees. Its a lot more light weight than the climbing rope I used to use.

Dislikes: i haven't found a thing wrong with it.
