Incorporating all of the elements you need for backcountry overnights or extended trips, the Eagles Nest Outfitters (ENO) JungleLink Hammock Shelter System includes a hammock/bug net, a rain tarp, a suspension system, and tent stakes.
The Eagles Nest Outfitters JungleLink hammock system is a great way to have a safe haven in the backcountry. This is a really convenient system that comes with everything you need for hammock camping, hammock backpacking where you need to be protected from those bugs, those wind insects that might invade your space. So it comes in a convenient little package right here, a stuff sack that has got everything inside. So I want to take everything out and just show what you get with the Junglelink.
First of all, you do get the Junglenest hammock. So Junglenest hammock is, you know, an Eagles Nest hammock that has got a bug net attached to it. It has got a bug net around it. So really convenient set up there. Once you have that Junglenest hammock set up, you are protected from bugs. The next thing you get, you do get a rain tarp here. So you get the ProFly rain tarp. This is going to protect you from sun and especially from rain and wind so you are protected underneath of that. You do get the Atlas suspension straps in order to hang your hammock from two fixed points or from two trees. And then you also get the necessary stakes to set up your ProFly rain tarp. So those four things come included with the Junglelink and we will set everything up and show you how it looks when it is all set up.
Between these two trees we have got the Junglenest hammock set up, the profile over top of it with the Atlas straps suspending the system between these two trees just so you can take a look at what everything looks like when it is set up. So you definitely get a lot of coverage. You get a lot of protection from the elements, protection from bugs in a very small pack size. And, you know, the thing I really love about this system is it gives you everything you need. You don’t have to purchase the pieces separately. You buy them in one package.
And the thing I love about this ProFly is that instead of just draping a tarp over your hammock system, you have got really ergonomic drip lines. You have a lot of small attentions to detail that Eagles Nest has really thought of in advance. So this system makes it that much more convenient and that much more easy to set up your system in the backcountry.
You can use the pieces just separately. You don’t have to use them all at once. So that makes it really great for just shorter trips, maybe if you just need a tarp you can take that out or the hammock by itself. So that is super convenient. And the way I set it up is I normally string the hammock first between the two trees. I set up the ridge line of that jungle nest hammock so that you can have the tension correct on that. And then I throw the ProFly over top of it. I stake it out pretty loosely to being with just to make sure you have it positioned over your hammock correctly. And then after that, I just cinch everything down. And each piece of this system has its own demonstration video that goes into very specific details about the materials and the weights and everything. So be sure to check out those videos if you want a more in depth review. But over all this system is super easy to use. It is very convenient and it is just going to give you that protection you need when you are hammock camping in the backcountry.
It is the Eagles Nest Outfitters JungleLink hammock system.
