Designed to fit snugly under your Eagles Nest Outfitters hammock (sold separately) and offer the warmth of a 3-season sleeping bag, the Blaze UnderQuilt extends your hammock camping from early spring through late fall backpacking season.
Designed to fit snugly under your Eagles Nest Outfitters (ENO) hammock (sold separately) and offer the warmth of a three-season sleeping bag for your backside, the ENO Blaze UnderQuilt extends your hammock camping from early spring trips through late fall backpacking season.
Constructed from a nylon ripstop shell that’s been treated with a DWR (durable water repellant) finish to help shed dew and moisture, and filled with 750 fill power down, the Eagles Nest Outfitters Blaze UnderQuilt offers the bottom half of your body insulation from cold night air and wind. Sculpted and differentially cut to match the contours of the body, the Blaze UnderQuilt attaches snugly beneath your hammock via a series of shock-corded suspension rails that are adjustable so you can reposition them from the hammock for fit or climbing in an out.
The Eagles Nest Outfitters Blaze UnderQuilt comes with a stuff sack and a cotton storage bag.
NOTE: The Blaze UnderQuilt is designed to only insulate the underside of your body. The ENO Ignitor TopQuilt (sold separately) is designed to fit the top half of your body. Both the Blaze UnderQuilt and the Ignitor TopQuilt must be used for complete warmth in colder temperatures.

Likes: I planned on using this with my double nest and 20 degree down mummy bag on a 40 degree night. However, I was pleased to have remained warm when the temperature decided to dip down in the low thirty's. The under quilt was easy to get back into the stuff sack at the end of the journey.
During the afternoon it was in the 50's with a decent 5-10 mph breeze. I did not experience any CBS.
Dislikes: Product seemed a bit short. I am 6'2 and had trouble staying centered. The baffles did not seem to be stuffed enough after the first few hours of decompressing but by morning it was reasonable.
Likes: Great product, Keeps me warm and toasty all night lone.
Likes: Awesome underquilt! I have been using this quilt since last winter and all spring/summer here in 2014. The temperature rating is spot on and I think it can easily be used 10 degrees above and below the rating. In the summer I add a little slack if I feel it's too warm. This quilt is also very well made and I feel like it could be a tad cheaper.
Dislikes: Price is probably the biggest dislike. You pay for down and I feel like the quality is there and $40 cheaper this would be of better value. Also, the baffles are sewn together in 3 sections. I have not had issues with cold spots due to this. 1 star lost for price otherwise a great piece of gear!
Likes: Everything about this thing is AWESOME!
