Weighing just over 3 pounds, the Deuter AC Aera 30 pack is a streamlined technical option for day hikers. Unlike many ultra-lightweight packs, the AC Aera 30 doesn't sacrifice on fit or durability.
The innovative Aircomfort AC Aera Back System uses a durable spring steel frame that retains its shape and adds tension to the mesh backpanel while effectively transferring weight to the padded, contoured hipbelt. By enabling the AC Aera 30 to stand away from your back, the Aircomfort AC Aera Back System promotes airflow and helps to keep you cool during active pursuits. The mesh backpanel and 3D Wide-AirMesh fabrics on the shoulder straps and hipbelt further enhance ventilation. Shoulder stabilizer straps and an adjustable sternum strap allow you to fine-tune fit. Side compression straps enable you to reduce and expand the size of the pack body as needed, securing contents and ensuring load stabilization.
The 1831 cubic inch capacity packbag can be accessed through the lidded top of the AC Aera 30 or through a large, U-shaped front zipper. This dual access allows you to quickly put hands on gear and or clothes without having to dump out the entire contents of your pack. A zippered pocket and attachment loops in the lid of the AC Aera 30 provide additional storage options.
Additional features found on the AC Aera 30 include a trekking pole attachment, an internal SOS instruction label and twin mesh side pockets. A lined internal pocket and integrated tube exit ports make the pack compatible with a hydration system (sold separately).
The Deuter AC Aera 30 pack also includes an integrated rain cover and is available in your choice of color options.
