An excellent option for side sleepers and those who want more ergonomic room and comfort in a sleeping bag, the NEMO Rhythm 25 Degree sleeping bag utilizes NEMO’s unique Spoon Shape technology and features, which redefine traditional sleeping bag design. NEMO’s Spoon Shape Series provides backpackers adjustable comfort and weight savings with 10% less insulation on the underside of the bag where it is most often compressed by the body and, therefore, unable to offer much warmth.
Lightweight, water resistant fabrics with a DWR (durable water repellant) finish make up the outer shell of the Rhythm 25 Degree sleeping bag, while Primaloft SYNERGY synthetic insulation keeps cold and moisture at bay. This multi-denier, continuous filament insulation has been engineered for superior warmth, softness and loft even when wet. NEMO’s innovative Spoon Shape contours give you extra space where it matters most. The cut starts wide in the shoulders, tapers in at the hips for comfort and warmth, and flares back out through the knees, letting you bend and shift naturally throughout the night. The Rhythm 25 Degree sleeping bag provides true sleeping comfort while maintaining thermal efficiency in a low weight, compressible option that performs in three-season temperatures. A waterproof/breathable footbox protects the bag further from the condensation build up that frequents the inside of tent walls.
Other comfort features include NEMO’s Blanket Fold design. This insulated panel at the collar of the Rhythm 25 Degree sleeping bag mimics home bedding and can be tucked around the face on cold nights or laid flat when it’s not needed. A contoured side zipper and insulated draft tube keep cold air out of the Rhythm 25 Degree sleeping bag. Drawcord adjustments around the face can be tightened or loosened as needed.
Available in your choice of Regular (fits to 6’ 0") and Long (6’ 6") lengths, the NEMO Rhythm 25 Degree sleeping bag includes a compression stuff sack and a storage sack.
Likes: I love this bag. Not the lightest but still light. Room to weight ratio cannot be beat. This bag has transformed my camp sleep experience after many years. The ability to move and roll in the bag made it great for me. It may not quite do the job at a true 25 degrees, but I believe you will be fine in the 30's. Can't see myself with another bag on the trail in cooler weather after this.
Likes: It has great warmth and durability construction overall. I liked the stuff sack for the pillow area. Zippers never snagged, I used this bag at Mono Hot Springs, CA - High Sierras with low temps 40-45 at night as this bag was toasty, i had to unzip to allow cool air in and I was good. So i can say that I would trust this bag in lower temps keeping me warm as needed.
Dislikes: I think for me, I could use a bit more room in the shoulder width area while sleeping on my back but overall i had plenty of leg/knee/shoulder room as it was nice/comfy sleeping on my sides.
