A favorite among female AT thru-hikers and fast-and-light backpackers, the Osprey Aura 50 Women's pack combines durability, storage capacity (2800+) and lightweight performance. Adjustable harnesses and hipbelt ensure a proper, comfortable fit.

Committed to providing all outdoor enthusiasts with optimal performance, Osprey equips its women's packs with gender-specific design features. Harnesses are cut wider through the collar bone area and have an ergonomic taper in the chest area. Offering a women's specific cant and a narrower cut, the hipbelts found on Osprey's women's packs also cater to female users.

Osprey's AirSpeed Suspension system equips the Aura 50 Women's pack with weight-carrying efficiency and breathability. A lightweight aluminum frame works in tandem with twin titanium struts and a tensioned backpanel to provide the ultimate in support, weight distribution, flexibility and comfort. A sliding sternum strap and load-lifter straps allow you to fine-tune fit with on-the-go adjustments. Accommodating backpackers of different heights, the Aura 50 Women's pack is available in your choice of sizes. The Small Aura 50 Women's pack fits torsos shorter than 18.5" in length and the Medium size is designed for torso lengths ranging from 18"-20.5".

To further ensure that the Aura 50 Women's pack fits like a glove, each hipbelt offers integrated adjustability that can extend the "wrap" of the supportive padding. This design allows for customized fit that ensures proper support and range of motion.

Designed to comfortably carry up to 40 pounds of gear, the top-loading Aura 50 Women's pack lends versatility for outings ranging from overnight trips to fast-moving, light-packing extended backpacking trips. The Small size offers 2868 cubic inches of storage capacity and the Medium Aura 50 Women's pack has a 3051 cubic inch capacity.

Dual front pockets are accessed through welded weather-resistant zippers. A welded, stretch woven nylon pocket on the front of the pack allows you to stash extra layers or other gear. A pocket located inside the floating lid of the Aura 50 Women's pack provides yet another organizational option. Side compression straps help you cinch down your load and also serve as lash points for additional gear. Stretch woven side pockets are the perfect place for stashing water bottles or other smaller items.

Other features found on the Aura 50 Women's pack include integrated trekking pole loops and removable straps located in front of the sleeping bag compartment that securely stow sleeping pads. An internal lined sleeve and dual exit ports combine to make the Aura 50 Women's pack hydration compatible. Zippered mesh pockets on the hipbelt keep snacks and essential items in easy reach.

Constructed of lightweight, durable 210D high tenacity twill nylon and 100D high tenacity mini-ripstop nylon, the Osprey Aura 50 Women's pack is available in your choice of size and color.

Likes: I am 5"1' w/a small frame and have a hard time finding backpacks that fit well and are not overly bulky. Osprey is the only brand I've found that builds it's women's packs specifically w/women body's in mind. Great fit and I love the ventilation that still fits snugly against my back but allows air to circulate. The shoulder straps are also ventilated but well padded. The pack is sturdily made, roomy w/plenty of pockets to quickly find specific items that you don't want stuffed in the pack. I think the 50l pack is roomy enough for a overnight hiking trip but not too bulky to be used for a day hike.

Dislikes: So far there is nothing not to like...will update if that changes
