The durable, lightweight Marmot Minimalist Jacket offers full weather protection for anyone looking for a waterproof/breathable shell they can use in any season. Reliable GORE-TEX Paclite fabric delivers all-season performance and the Minimalist Jacket's features work on the trail or alpine climbs.

Made from super-lightweight, packable GORE-TEX Paclite fabric, the Minimalist Jacket has excellent waterproof/breathable properties and weighs a mere 15 ounces! This year-round shell sheds rain, sleet and snow without a problem and under arm pit zips provide increased ventilation on sweaty uphill climbs. The Minimalist's lightweight fabrication and simplified design take up a "minimal" amount of space in your pack while offering excellent protection when the weather gets rough. The phrase "less is more" rings true with the Minimalist Jacket.

Other features of the Minimalist Jacket include an attached, adjustable hood that can be worn with a helmet, a storm flap over the front zipper with snap/Velcro closure, an external chest pocket with a water resistant zipper, two zippered hand pockets and an elastic draw cord hem.

The Marmot Minimalist Jacket is available in an array of size and color options.

Likes: Very light, packs small, fits and works great.

Dislikes: Can be a little sticky on bare skin which is a minor annoyance.

Likes: I wanted a quality jacket to be worn in the rain during fall soccer games. I like it so much I am planning on layering it this winter as a shell and using it as my ski jacket. The gore-tex paclite shell is light, comfortable, and breathable. The face material is much more attractive than typical less expensive rain gear.

Likes: This jacket is very light weight and packs small. I shove it in my pack on every adventure and it has faithfully kept me dry thus far. Love the fit and look. Great jacket.

Dislikes: Inner lining rubberized and can sometimes stick to bare skin.
