The warmest offering in Therm-a-Rest's innovative line of inflatable mattresses, the NeoAir XTherm is a lightweight, packable option for cold-weather and year-round use. Its 5.7 R-value is far warmer than traditional inflatable pads.

Unlike the limited number of vertical baffles employed by most traditional inflatable pads, the NeoAir All XTherm utilizes horizontal air baffles. Therm-a-Rest's Triangular Core Matrix technology and the increased number of baffles help to minimize convective cooling, increase stability and eliminate the "inflatable raft" feeling caused by overinflated vertical baffles. In addition, stacked reflective internal barriers actually direct heat back to your body and cold air back to the ground!

The inflatable construction provides a full 2.5"-thick base of support. Lightweight, high-tenacity fabric offers durability while maintaining an incredibly light packed weight. When deflated the NeoAir XTherm packs down as small as a 1-liter water bottle.

The Therm-a-Rest NeoAir XTherm is available in Small (20" x 47"), Medium (20" x 66"), Regular (20" x 72") and Large (25" x 77") size options. A repair kit is included for unexpected emergencies and a stuff sack/pump sack (also included) adds additional value while making inflation easy.

Likes: This pad is sweet, first one that I have owned. It definitely insulates you from the cold ground. The bottom half of the pad was cool to the touch and the top was warm from my body heat. Pretty cool how this thing works. Packs super small too.

Dislikes: No dislikes.

Likes: Pad provided good cushioning and did reflect heat back to body. Seemed well made and sturdy. BCE fast shipping and quick hassle free return.

Dislikes: Bought a small. Specs say 47 x 20. Actual full inflation measurement was 45 x 19. Narrow and easy to roll off. Inflation using included stuff sack took 10 minutes. Not as functional as I had hoped. Returned it. If I were to get into winter camping I probably would shell out or a Large 77 x 25 and the battery powered pump. For me not worth the cost for 3 season use. I'll stick with my Ridge Rest for now.

Likes: light, compact, and has just enough cushion to keep you comfortable on the ground. Blows up in a few minutes and then can be deflated and rolled up into an 8" x 6" pouch.

Dislikes: like everything so far.

Likes: It was warm as soon as I laid down on it. Work good on a 20 degree night. It was also light weight and very small when packed.

Dislikes: A little noisy when moving around on it.

Likes: Very light, compact, and insulative. We bought this to go with our big agnes sleeping bag which has no underside insulation, so the high R value was important.

Accidentally ordered a "medium" size instead of a regular for my wife, so I was worried it would be an inch or two short. She's 5'7" and the medium works perfectly for her - they may be a little longer than specified.

Dislikes: The pump-sack that came with this mattress leaks too much to be useful. I read around on the internet and this is a problem others have experienced. I've also read therm-a-rest will replace it, though I haven't attempted to contact them yet.

Likes: This sleeping pad hits the sweet spot on comfort, weight and thermal protection. My son prefers a foam pad, but this pad packs down much smaller and weighs less. The pad includes a storage sack that converts to an inflater. The inflater is a little awkward but does the job and will be a real asset in colder weather. Very pleased with this purchase.

Dislikes: Expensive compared to some options.
