The innovative CamelBak Crux Reservoir equips your pack (sold separately) for hands-free hydration. The ergonomic reservoir carries quietly and comfortably, its integrated bite valve delivers a high flow rate, and rugged construction ensures leakproof performance.
The reservoir's wide mouth is easily accessed by a large, grip-friendly quick-seal cap, making refilling the reservoir easy and efficient. Center baffling and a low-profile design grant the reservoir streamlined stability. An anti-microbial treatment fights bacteria build-up inside the BPA-free reservoir and keeps water tasting fresh and clean.
Providing easy access to water when you need it, the easy open/close cap has a simple on/off lever that keeps water from escaping when you aren’t drinking. A Quick Link design allows you to easily disconnect the drinking tube which makes refilling easy and cutting down on a frequent warranty issue on less sophisticated reservoirs.
Designed to fit the hydration sleeve of most brands of backpacks, the CamelBak Crux Reservoir is available in multiple size options.

Real Customer Reviews
- Keeps water cold too!
Likes: Easy to get into my pack.
- Works well
Likes: This is ideal for short hikes. It's light, durable, and easy to fill and clean.
Dislikes: The bite valve is a little stiff, and the on-off tab could be a little easier to manipulate.
- Great reservoir
Likes: Thick material, no leak, on/off new bite valve is easy to use, handle make it easy for refill.
Dislikes: Center top where the bladder hook up to the pack could have a better design.
- Simple & Effective
Likes: This is a simple and hearty product. Great for those like me who need to have 3 liters of water on just about any hike. My favorite part is the lid closure system. It is a quick turn and boom its closed vs the old style camelbacks where incessant turning was required with high force to open or close the product.
Dislikes: Bite valve can be a bit delicate. I already have a tear in mine and have only used it on maybe 6 or 7 trips.
- When You Need the Extra Liter
Likes: High capacity reservoir that fits into all my Camelbacks
Quick release valve
Likes: I decided not to use it inside my pack due to difficulty getting access to it for refills. I thought I'd like the wide mouth for ease of cleaning but in reality I don't care for it. I can still use it in my Camelbak day pack.
Dislikes: It didn't work for me on long distance backpacking where I have to filter water and refill frequently.
Likes: Good size, great wide-mouth for easy cleaning. No complaints
