Enjoy safe drinking water anywhere! The CamelBak All Clear Microbiological UV Water Purifier uses the same technology as municipal treatment facilities and water-bottling plants to neutralize 99.99% of viruses, bacteria and protozoa!

By combining a UV purifier, a BPA-free water bottle and a rechargeable battery pack, the CamelBak All Clear Microbiological UV Water Purifier lets you enjoy safe water wherever you go. Utilizing the same technology used to purify water in municipal treatment facilities, hospitals and water-bottling plants, the purifier neutralizes 99.99% of viruses, bacteria and protozoa in just 60 seconds!

To effectively purify water, simply fill the included .75 liter water bottle, screw on the shock-resistant cap and depress the built-in button to begin the purification cycle. The Ultraviolet (UV) bulb renders viruses, bacteria and protozoa harmless by breaking down DNA. UV light is invisible to the human eye, but a secondary light indicates that purification is taking place and an integrated LCD screen confirms cycle start, cycle time and successful cycle completion.

NOTE: Because the penetration of UV light can be limited by discoloration, solids and debris, it is important that clear, unfrozen water be used. If clear water is unobtainable, use of the CamelBak All Clear Pre-Filter (sold separately) to remove particulates and debris is advisable prior to the UV water treatment.

In addition to providing purification cycle details, the LCD screen offers battery life information. Each cycle of the All Clear UV Water Purification System effectively treats 0.75 liters of water and the energy efficient designs lasts up to 10,000 cycles. The rechargeable battery offers up to 80 cycles on a single charge. A Mini-USB recharge cable (included) allows you to power up directly from a wall charger, laptop, MP3 or any other USB compatible device.

The CamelBak All Clear Microbiological UV Water Purifier also includes a carrying case of for the UV cap and a CamelBak Classic Cap for use after the water has been purified.

  • Portable purification built into a CamelBak .75L water bottle
  • Energy efficient design last 10,000 cycles
  • Innovative cap maximizes UV exposure
  • Shock-resistant design enhances durability
  • Insulated bulb retains efficiency even with exposure to cold water temperatures
  • Clear LCD read out
  • Over 99.9% effective against bacteria, viruses and protozoa

Likes: I 'purified' several volumes of water through this CamelBak. Some used for cooking, most for drinking. The water was from the St Sebastian river, fresh water with a touch of gator. No issues.

Dislikes: A bit much to carry for an extended hike. (would rather just take tablets but the convenience of this product is great!)

Likes: not like the "sticks" which i hear can break easy. This doubles as a container and purifier in one.

Dislikes: so far so good.

Likes: Ability to use UV to kill all pathogens, including viruses in a timely, controlled method. Very easy to use. Battery longevity in the field, probably up to 2 weeks before recharging & can use USB outlet.

Dislikes: nothing

Likes: I have bought this item for an upcoming trip to Kenya this summer. I haven't used it yet, but I bought this from Backcountry Edge as they had the best price on the web. I did my research in advance and this was the highest rated bottle of its type. Can't wait to try it!

Dislikes: Haven't used it yet.

Likes: Convenience and speed of use when trying to purify water

Dislikes: Does not change the taste of the water. If the water has an off taste it will still have an off taste after purifying.
