Reflecting a design commitment to simplicity and functionality the Boreas Halo 75 backpack has a streamlined lightweight profile but is capable of carrying heavy loads for multi-day or extended trips. A host of organizational and access features provide excellent backcountry versatility.
A well-cushioned backpanel single support stay and die-cut PE framesheet work together to provide lightweight support and stability. The perforated z-foam used on the backpanel enhances ventilation to help keep you cool. A padded hipbelt and padded contoured shoulder straps offer additional comfort and aid in both fit and load control. A sliding sternum strap and load-lifter straps further enable you to fine-tune fit. To ensure that you experience a proper fit the Halo 75 is available in Medium (18"-20") and Large (greater than 20") torso sizes. Boreas’s Rib Cage construction uses compression straps to ensure that contents remain stable and balanced.
The Halo 75 has a storage capacity of more than 4500 cubic inches. The pack’s main top-loading compartment is accessed beneath a lid that also provides two zippered storage pockets. To shave weight you can remove the top lid entirely. A cinch-down closure in the top of the packbag protects contents even when the lid is removed. A large front stretch-fabric pocket serves as a "stuff it" storage option and keeps extra layers in easy reach. Stretch-fabric side pockets are ideal for water bottles and other gear. Large zippered hipbelt pockets keep essentials close at hand.
Other features include tuck-away daisy chain attachment points hidden gear loops on the shoulder straps and an included rain cover. A lined internal sleeve makes the Halo 75 hydration system (sold separately) compatible.
