Offering trusted performance at a wallet-friendly price, Black Diamond Trail trekking poles offer innovative features rarely found on poles in this cost range. Easy-to-adjust external locks, extended length grips and aluminum construction combine to make Trail trekking poles a true bargain.
Far easier to adjust than the internal locking mechanisms used by many telescoping poles, the external locks found on Trail trekking poles are ideal for use in all conditions and seasons. Black Diamond's FlickLock system couldn't be much simpler. Even if you're wearing gloves, it's a cinch to open the lock with a flip of your finger, slide the pole section to the required length and tap the lock back into place. Once you've used FlickLocks, you'll wonder why anyone would ever want to wrestle with temperamental internal mechanisms.
Dual density foam grips provide contoured, comfortable handholds. These textured grips extend far down the upper pole sections, allowing you to adjust where you grasp the Trail poles while eliminating the need to shorten or extend the poles each time you encounter a steep slope. Padded, adjustable webbing straps help to reduce stress on your wrists.
Press-fit Flex Tech Tips have integrated low-profile trekking baskets that provide backcountry traction. The WaveLock construction of the Flex Tech Tips allows you to choose between interchangeable carbide and rubber tip (sold separately) ends for optimal performance on varying terrain.
Sold in pairs, Black Diamond Trail trekking poles offer a usable adjustment range of 25"-55" and together weigh 17 ounces.

Real Customer Reviews
- Great poles just not for me
Likes: The extended foam grip is very soft and comfortable. The flick locks are easy to use and adjust. I loved the color and the look of the poles. Great value with the included snow baskets.
Dislikes: I did not like the feel of the rubber piece on the top of the pole. I tend to palm the top of the poles while going downhill and this was a deal breaker for me. Needless to say that I opted to go with the Leki Micro Vario poles as they have a superior grip.
- Very happy
Likes: Easy to adjust height of poles, feel light in my hands so it's not a burden to walk with them, locking mechanism is easy to use but very sturdy, wrist straps are comfortable, they compress perfectly to fit the stow on the go system with my osprey pack.
