Utilizing high-performance carbon fiber shafts, Black Diamond Alpine Carbon Cork trekking poles are lightweight, easy-to-adjust, and equipped with tactile cork grips.
Far easier to adjust than the internal locking mechanisms used by many telescoping poles, sturdy FlickLock Pro external locks are ideal for use in all conditions and seasons. Black Diamond's FlickLock system couldn't be much simpler. Even if you're wearing gloves, it's a cinch to open the lock with a flip of your finger, slide the pole section to the required length and tap the lock back into place.
Cork grips serve as contoured, comfortable handholds and additional lengths of foam padding extend far down the upper pole sections, allowing you to adjust where you grasp the poles without having to shorten or extend the poles each time you encounter a steep slope or side hill traverse. Padded, adjustable webbing straps help to reduce stress on your wrists.
Press-fit Flex Tech Tips have integrated low-profile trekking baskets that provide backcountry traction. The WaveLock construction of the Flex Tech Tips allows you to choose between interchangeable carbide and rubber tip (sold separately) ends for optimal performance on varying terrain.
Sold in pairs, Black Diamond Alpine Carbon Cork trekking poles offer a usable adjustment range of 30"-51" and together weigh just 17 ounces.

Real Customer Reviews
- Great Poles. Well Made
Likes: Love how light they are considering the quality of the material. The buckle clamps are made of metal which means they will last a lot longer as most competitors are plastic. The cork grip is extremely comfortable and only gets more comfortable as you break them in. Everything about these poles is quality.
Dislikes: Started to get a blister/hotspot the first time using them, but I think it was because of the way I was holding them.
- Great solid trekking pole
Likes: These poles are light weight but not too light to feel flimsy. The full carbon makes the poles ridged and supportive. I was going to go with a shock absorber type pole but knowing the carbon fiber properties would absorb most of the shock this was a no brainer. The flick lock is such an upgrade from my twist locks that just fail over time. The cork handle makes it that more comfortable of a pole
Dislikes: Not much to dislike about it. It is a product meant to do what it was made for and that is to be bomb proof in the back country.
- I like them a lot!
Likes: The flick locks are of very high quality. I really like the cork grips too.
- Seems durable, packs small and light
Likes: Haven't put it to use yet but will be on upcoming backpacking trip. Packs small and light.
Dislikes: None so far.
- Great Trekking Poles
Likes: Just received these poles. I had some older BD trekking poles and was looking for a lighter pair. Only used for about 10 miles, but so far so good. They are very light. Cork handles are very comfortable. Easily adjustable and so far the clamps are solid and have not slipped.
Dislikes: None so far.
