Utilizing high-performance carbon fiber shafts Black Diamond Alpine Carbon Cork trekking poles are lightweight easy-to-adjust and equipped with tactile cork grips.

Far easier to adjust than the internal locking mechanisms used by many telescoping poles sturdy FlickLock Pro external locks are ideal for use in all conditions and seasons. Black Diamond's FlickLock system couldn't be much simpler. Even if you're wearing gloves it's a cinch to open the lock with a flip of your finger slide the pole section to the required length and tap the lock back into place.

Cork grips serve as contoured comfortable handholds and additional lengths of foam padding extend far down the upper pole sections allowing you to adjust where you grasp the poles without having to shorten or extend the poles each time you encounter a steep slope or side hill traverse. Padded adjustable webbing straps help to reduce stress on your wrists.

Press-fit Flex Tech Tips have integrated low-profile trekking baskets that provide backcountry traction. The WaveLock construction of the Flex Tech Tips allows you to choose between interchangeable carbide and rubber tip (sold separately) ends for optimal performance on varying terrain.

Sold in pairs Black Diamond Alpine Carbon Cork trekking poles offer a usable adjustment range of 30"-51" and together weigh just 17 ounces.

Takes a licking and keeps on ticking
Reviewed by Joseph T. - July 8, 2018

Likes: - Durable. Scratched them up a lot, got banged around, but they still work perfectly
- Easy to adjust. Dialing the size is super easy.

Dislikes: They collapse decently well, but I prefer the style of poles that completely detach into 3 sections. You can't quite get these as short.

Excellent trekking poles. Cork handle absorbs sweat and the overall construction is exceptional.

Cork handle absorbent and comfortable

Dislikes: Poles should come with optional rubber tip, which must be purchased separately.

Worth the investment
Reviewed by Greg G. - March 20, 2018

Likes: The size markings on each segment is helpful to make sure the stress is distributed properly. Finally replaced a pair of twist lock trekking poles with the quick lock mechanism; well worth it for this part alone.

Dislikes: The instructions leave a lot to be desired.

Straps, prefer them to leki s smaller thinner ones for winter hiking (easier for me to adjust)

Dislikes: Wish they’d extend a little more for shelters like the Duomid

Great trekking poles

Likes: Easy to adjust, much better than the twist lock type

Dislikes: I hope the cork grips last, time will tell

Great Poles. Well Made
Reviewed by Jordan D. - September 5, 2017

Likes: Love how light they are considering the quality of the material. The buckle clamps are made of metal which means they will last a lot longer as most competitors are plastic. The cork grip is extremely comfortable and only gets more comfortable as you break them in. Everything about these poles is quality.

Dislikes: Started to get a blister/hotspot the first time using them, but I think it was because of the way I was holding them.
