Ideal for backpackers who want to travel light but still appreciate two points of entry and freestanding structure, the innovative Big Agnes Tiger Wall UL 3 tent weighs in at just 2 pounds, 11 ounces!
Tapered from the head to the foot of the tent, the interior of the tent measures 66" at its widest point and stretches a full 88" in length. The 38 square feet interior provides adequate elbow room for 3 backpackers or serves as a roomy shelter for two. Two doors provide convenient access and dual vestibules offer a combined 16 square feet of additional weather-protected external storage space. Interior mesh pockets provide places to stash gear and clothes while integrated gear loft loops offer a connection point for the Big Agnes Triangle Gear Loft, Trapezoid Gear Loft, Wall Gear Loft, or Large Wall Gear Loft (all sold separately).
Lightweight, collapsible DAC Featherlite NFL poles provide the tent with freestanding structure. The single hub/pole design works in conjunction with the tent body's integrated clips to make setting up the tent fast, easy and intuitive. Aluminum J stakes are included to ensure a taught pitch.
Ample mesh on the tent body maximizes cross ventilation and provides circulation to fight condensation build-up. Coated with 1200mm waterproof polyurethane, the silicone-treated rip-stop nylon floor and rainfly are lightweight and durable. All of the tent's seams are seal-taped with waterproof, solvent-free polyurethane tape (no PVC or VOCs) to further protect the tent from the elements. The custom-fit Tiger Wall UL 3 Footprint (sold separately) can be used to add additional protection beneath the tent from mud, ground water, or sharp objects. If you really want to travel light, you can leave the tent body at home and use just the rainfly, poles, and the footprint to create a tarp-style set-up that weighs just over 2 pounds!

Real Customer Reviews
- Great three person tent for a family or group that are cool with being close together!
Likes: The weight savings is great, and the craftsmanship is as well.
Perfect for two plus person tent and a three person tent as long as everyone in the group is ok with being in close quarters.
Dislikes: No real dislikes. I read reviews of people saying the zippers are an issue. I found that with all new gear there is a learning curve. The zipper on the fly will grab the storm flap, however if you keep slight down pressure that holds the zipper away I found it was very smooth.
- Best tent ever!
Likes: Lightweight, spacious, cheerful color, excellent star-viewing, really easy one-person setup, thoughtful design details, excellent workmanship - a winner!
Dislikes: Can’t find any, but too bad this tent wasn’t available years ago!
- Great tent with ample space for the weight. Packs down very small.
- Spacious and Light
Likes: Very spacious and light for a three person tent. Only used with two people, but I tend to toss and turn so it totally helped to have that extra room. Previously had a Copper Spur HV UL2 that didn’t allow room for me to do this, hence I was slapping my partner. I liked the side pockets and how the poles connected effortlessly. I used it with a footprint I made myself. Definitely feel like it’s not a tent to use bare. I like how the doors zip. Makes it easy to get in and out since they’re so wide. .
Dislikes: The fabric feels thin, but that’s how it’s ultralight. It’s not too much a peeve, what is is that since the rain fly is so light and thin, I struggled to zip myself out of the tent because the fabric kept getting caught in the zipper.
