With a spacious interior, dual doors/vestibules and an array of other features, the Big Agnes Tensleep Station 4 is a deluxe option for 3-season family camping or base camp usage.

With a spacious interior, dual doors/vestibules and an array of other features, the Big Agnes Tensleep Station 4 is a deluxe option for 3-season family camping or base camp usage.

Stretching a full 100" in length, the interior of the Tensleep Station 4 is 96" at its widest point. With 65 square feet of interior space, the tent provides ample room for up to 4 campers. An overhead peak height of 68" offers excellent livability. Twelve interior mesh pockets provide numerous places to stash gear and clothes while integrated gear loft loops offer a connection point for the Big Agnes Trapezoid Gear Loft (sold separately). A rear vestibule provides dry entry and 8 square feet of weather-protected external storage space, but it is the large (31 square feet) front vestibule that really makes the Tensleep Station 4 stand out from other camping tents. This vestibule has two mesh windows that can be left open to maximize ventilation or closed to increase privacy. The large front door has an awning style entry that can be staked open for extra shade.

The body of the Tensleep Station 4 is constructed of durable polyester rip-stop fabric and strategic mesh panels on the walls and ceiling allow air circulation to fight condensation build-up. Coated with waterproof polyurethane, the polyester floor and rainfly are extremely durable. All of the Tensleep Station 4's seams are taped-sealed to further protect the tent from the elements. The Big Agnes Tensleep Station 4 Footprint (sold separately) can be used to further protect the tent floor from mud, ground water and sharp objects like rocks, exposed roots and pine needles.

Four sturdy aluminum press-fit poles lend freestanding structure to the Tensleep Station 4. Color-coded pole ends, grommet webbing and buckles make it easy to attach the poles to the clips and sleeves of the tent body. Seventeen sturdy aluminum hook stakes are included to further secure the Tensleep Station 4 in place.

Likes: Had an LL Bean tent my whole life so this is literally the 1st time buying another brand. We tried a few (REI, Kelty) but nothing seemed like the right size/price/functionality we were looking. Then we tried the Tensleep....

Size is perfect, yes it can be a large footprint once the fly is staked out but it's what we wanted for rain. Color is nice, not too bright, back door a plus as well.

Super easy set up. Durable quality. Comes with a smart bag to pack everything into. Really enjoyed setting it up for the first time today.

Dislikes: Back door has no screen. Front door is only a screen.
Curious to see how well it holds heat as well as how the front side keeps rain out.

Likes: I just returned from a camping trip during which I used my Big Agness Tensleep. The tent comes nicely packed in a folding suitcase type bag. Reading the instructions once was all that was needed to assist in a fairly easy set up and yes, it does help to have two people but it is possible for one person to set up. The tent went up quickly and I did add the fly to see what coverage it provided but it does add a lot to the overall length so find a large open space that's about 3 feet longer than the tents footprint. The interior is very roomy and provided plenty of space for my wife and I and our two dogs (one large and one small)plus good height for standing almost upright.

Dislikes: It does require a fair amount of space if you add the rainfly but not bad. The rainfly with the vestibule is fairly elaborate in set up and requires several stakes (included). My main complaint would be the doors. The front door is all mesh without a solid panel and the smaller back door is solid panel without a separate mesh panel and thus this set up limits the options for ventilation. If cool winds coming through the very large front door is a problem then the only solution is to add the rainfly and zip up the front. Would prefer both mesh and solid panels options at each door.

Likes: This is a high quality product by Big Agnes, but be is HUGE. It's easy to set up, has an enormous and very versatile vestibule, and would easily sleep a family of 15 (just kidding) - seriously, it would sleep more than four normal weight people. Very spacious with a large vestibule. Nice ventilation and easy set up. The only problem is it was too large for my backyard. It would be be perfect for Rudolph Valentino and his harem. You don't even have to bend over to go in the door! We actually like everything about this tent except its size. We were looking for a car camping tent, but where we go we would have a hard time finding a camping spot large enough for this big boy.

Dislikes: Too large and too tall for us. Wouldn't fit in most dispersed car camping spots. Wish they made a true three person option.
