Comfortable but cool
Reviewed by SH - April 12, 2017

Likes: As a tall side sleeper I purchased the long wide version and for its size it's pretty light weight, 24.5 Oz with the stuff sack. I slept on this pad about 10 nights last fall. This is definitely the most comfortable pad I've slept on. It's also quiet unlike my friends NeoAir Xlite. I was skeptical of the new valve system at first, but it works very well. It deflates much faster than any other pad I've used and the one way valve makes inflating easy. The pad seems pretty durable, it survived a bear tearing my tent up and dragging it off into the trees. (My fault, left a granola bar in the tent)

Dislikes: I only got to try this pad out on snow for one night before the bear wrecked my tent. It was not warm at all compared to my old self inflating pads. I'm guessing the NeoAir XTherm MAX would be a better choice in the cold. The long wide pad is big and as such requires a lot of air to inflate. I'll be purchasing a Pumphouse Ultra to help speed up inflation.

Big Agnes Q-Core SLX
Reviewed by NJBOnTheAT - March 27, 2017

Likes: - Very comfortable and ultra-light
- Packs small

Dislikes: I would be leary of using this in cold temperatures with the Big Agnes sleep system bags; I used it recently on a trip where the temperatures dipped into the mid 40s and it had cold spots; I expected it to hold my body heat a little better than it did. Still a great pad however given its size and weight.

Comfy Pad!
Reviewed by Adam - November 30, 2016

Likes: Very comfortable and spacious pad! The quilted design provides a very even sleeping surface. I ordered the regular/wide as I am a side sleeper and love the extra room. I also tend to move around a lot and the pad is very quiet. LOVE the separate deflate valve & it is super quick to deflate. I highly recommend purchasing the BA Pumphouse Ultra to use to inflate the pad. Very easy to attach and saves time blowing up and also will increase the life and elimate mold build up on the inside.

Dislikes: A little "bouncy" as it is a thick pad and has a lot of air. Pumphouse should be included with the pad and a standard to use it to inflate. Not a 4-season pad.

Fantastic Sleeping Pad
Reviewed by Jamie B. - October 10, 2016

Likes: I've used self inflating sleeping pads, lightweight pads, etc. over the years but this is hands down the best backpacking sleeping pad I've ever used. I'm a side sleeper and it's tough, for me at least, to find a pad that's lightweight and comfortable. I was using a NeoAir but I kept getting woken up by my hand on the side I was sleeping on falling asleep. I don't have that problem with this pad. I used it for the first time on a recent weekend backpacking trip and got the best night's sleep I've ever had on a backpacking trip. It's a little heavier than my lightweight pad but well worth the extra 4 oz. for the comfort. It also didn't seem to slip around on my cuben fiber tent floor like some of the other pads. I forgot to put some double sided tape on it for grip like I have on my other pads but even without the tape the pad didn't slide.

Dislikes: None

Light and compact

Likes: Ultra lightweight, compacts down very small and great for backpack camping!

Dislikes: None

Light, great valve system
Reviewed by Rick G. - August 26, 2016

Likes: The sleeping pad is easy to inflate, and pack weight is light.

Dislikes: The insulation is very minimal. There is also some heat reflecting material along the columns. But I still found it to be somewhat cold to sleep on. I was sleeping with just underwear on, so the rating might take into account that clothes are needed to keep you warm.
