Utilizing a unique "quilted" design, the compact and ultra-lightweight Big Agnes Q-Core SLX inflatable sleeping pad combines warmth and comfort for 3-season backpacking. An internal layer of synthetic insulation bolsters the pad’s thermal efficiency.

The pad’s nylon rip-stop top and bottom have internal polyurethane coatings for waterproof protection. The alternating I-beam construction provides a smooth, comfortable feel and a full 3.5" of thickness. Dual high-volume technology allows for easy one-way inflation and convenient, super-fast deflation. Larger outer baffles help to keep you comfortably on the pad throughout the night. An internal antimicrobial treatment extends the life of the pad. Big Agnes has rated the pad for use in temperatures as low as 15 degrees Fahrenheit.

The Big Agnes Q-Core SLX inflatable sleeping pad is available in a wide array of size options. A stuff sack and repair kit are included with each pad. NOTE: Always store the pad unrolled with the valve open.

  • High volume valve allows for efficient and easy inflation and super-fast deflation
  • Advanced heat reflective technology
  • 15 Degrees F temperature rating
  • Antimicrobial treatment inside pad prevents microorganism growth
  • Minimalist I-Beam construction reduces weight and provides stability and comfort
  • Quilted top provides a pillowy sleeping surface

Cadi Comfort
Reviewed by Dean C. - February 6, 2018

Likes: Nice thick air pad with a comfortable sleeping top.

Dislikes: 6-7 ounces heavier than my long / 25 inch wide Neo Air. The rectangular shape did not allow enough space at the foot end of a tapered two person tent (with two people).

Great Pad

Likes: I purchased a sea to summit comfort light which was 2.5 inches thick and had great reviews. to me it was way to thin as a side sleeper and sould feel the ground when turning over. Bought this Q Core SLX pad. Best purchase I have ever made. I am 6'7 208 pounds. I purchased the Large Wide size. It is perfect. I recommend purchasing the Big Agnes pumpsack to inflate it as it is very easy to do so compared using your breath and getting dizzy. Very comfortable pad. I have not used it yet outdoors so i cannot rate the insulation. regardless I am loving this pad. Light weight, packs small.

Dislikes: Nothing.

Perfect size/weight. Got the Big Agnes pump to blow it up. Nice!

Dislikes: none

Likes: It is very very comfortable! Love the ability to deflate for comfort level. I’m 5’10” and have broad shoulders and sleep in my stomach. This pad is perfect for me.

Dislikes: No dislikes.

Nice sleeping pad

Likes: light weight
doesn't take up much space in pack

Dislikes: takes quite a few breaths to inflate

Comfy and small
Reviewed by Michelle C. - October 10, 2017

Likes: Got the petite to save on space, weight and price. I'm a side-sleeper anyway so my knees curl up. Can't attest to warmth because I used this in Florida. We just don't do cold here. Hits the mark on all the above though and it's comfortable. And I got it on sale. I'm literally a happy camper.

Dislikes: none

Bed anywhere
Reviewed by Peter M. - July 6, 2017

Likes: I had the orange q-core (previous model) which I've spent countless nights on, and just upgraded to this (with the pumphouse). The design improvements in this model are fantastic- valve is great, super easy and quick deflation.. and of course- the most important thing- I think this is the most comfortable lightweight air mattress on the market. I get the same quality of sleep on this as I do on my bed at home.

Dislikes: I liked the orange color of the previous version more

Q-CORE SLX Sleeping Pad
Reviewed by Al S. - July 3, 2017

Likes: * Compact compared to foam pads.
* Inflates quickly with the BA Pumphouse Ultra (additional purchase).
* Deflates quickly when you are ready pack up and move out.
* Bought the Wide Long pad which works well for me ( 6"3" , 200 lbs.).

Dislikes: None so far.

An awesome sleeping pad
Reviewed by Marcus O. - June 26, 2017

Likes: I was really impressed with this pad. I went for the long wide version which fits inside my Copper Spur UL1 no problems. The pad is supercomfy with a nice sleeping surface that feels like the mattress at home. It is durable as well for the weight. Lots of loft for side sleepers and a great pad all around.

Dislikes: Inflation time is around 25 breaths. You can always go for the Big Agnes Pumphouse Ultra.

Comfortable but cool
Reviewed by SH - April 12, 2017

Likes: As a tall side sleeper I purchased the long wide version and for its size it's pretty light weight, 24.5 Oz with the stuff sack. I slept on this pad about 10 nights last fall. This is definitely the most comfortable pad I've slept on. It's also quiet unlike my friends NeoAir Xlite. I was skeptical of the new valve system at first, but it works very well. It deflates much faster than any other pad I've used and the one way valve makes inflating easy. The pad seems pretty durable, it survived a bear tearing my tent up and dragging it off into the trees. (My fault, left a granola bar in the tent)

Dislikes: I only got to try this pad out on snow for one night before the bear wrecked my tent. It was not warm at all compared to my old self inflating pads. I'm guessing the NeoAir XTherm MAX would be a better choice in the cold. The long wide pad is big and as such requires a lot of air to inflate. I'll be purchasing a Pumphouse Ultra to help speed up inflation.
