Utilizing a unique "quilted" design, the Big Agnes Q-Core SLX Double Wide inflatable sleeping pad provides couples with 3-season backpacking and camping performance. An internal layer of synthetic insulation bolsters the pad’s thermal efficiency.

The pad’s nylon rip-stop top and bottom have internal polyurethane coatings for waterproof protection. The alternating I-beam construction provides a smooth, comfortable feel and a full 3.5" of thickness. Dual high-volume technology allows for easy one-way inflation and convenient, super-fast deflation. Larger outer baffles help to keep you comfortably on the pad throughout the night. An internal antimicrobial treatment extends the life of the pad. Big Agnes has rated the pad for use in temperatures as low as 15 degrees Fahrenheit.

A stuff sack and repair kit are included with each Big Agnes Q-Core SLX Double Wide inflatable sleeping pad. NOTE: Always store the pad unrolled with the valve open.

  • High volume valve allows for efficient and easy inflation and super-fast deflation
  • Advanced heat reflective technology
  • 15 Degrees F temperature rating
  • Antimicrobial treatment inside pad prevents microorganism growth
  • Minimalist I-Beam construction reduces weight and provides stability and comfort
  • Quilted top provides a pillowy sleeping surface
  • Larger outer chambers keep you cradled in the middle of the pad
  • Repair kit included

As comfortable as my own bed
Reviewed by Janet M. - December 16, 2018

Likes: This pad is luxury. Not the lightest thing in the world, but when you share the load with your other half it's works well. One carries the double sleeping bag; one carries the pad.
No more falling in the middle caused by two single pads.

Dislikes: Hard to blow up, but made easier with the Big Agnes pump bag.

Buy this sleeping pad. Now.

Likes: I waited to review this sleeping pad until we used it. It was wonderful. It slept like a huge, heavy, car-camping 10-inch thick air mattress. And we were setting up on gravel. We looked at every double pad we could find, and we're glad we settled on this one.

Dislikes: None.

Very comfortable but hard to inflate
Reviewed by Mike O. - November 27, 2018

Likes: This sleeping while expensive is quite comfortable.
It fits our Big Agnes 30 sleeping bag perfectly and we slept great on it.
I have not tried it in colder weather to test the insulating properties but will soon.
If it included the pump/stuffsac like most do, or if the price was slightly cheaper it would earn a 5 star rating .

Dislikes: Inflating the mattress is a chore, and the fact that it does not come with a stuffsac/pump like most others today is a shame. For the price it should be included.

Super comfy and packable
Reviewed by Courtney S. - November 13, 2018

Likes: I wasn't even a little bit sore after sleeping on this pad in a variety of positions, and I love that it packs down pretty small and light for how big and thick it is. I like the ability to easily adjust the amount of air in the pad, and the fact that the inflation valve only goes one way. It works well with the Big Agnes system double bags.

Dislikes: I wish it were warmer. On a ~35 degree night, I was not uncomfortable, but the ground side was definitely the coolest part of me. I also wish it came with the pumphouse ultra inflation bag, given the price of the pad and the amount of air required to inflate.

Perfect for Backpacking Couples
Reviewed by Jason L. - October 24, 2018

Likes: This is our new go-to pad for lightweight and even ultralight backpacking. We use a double quilt and now a double pad, and this saves quite a lot of weight for us overall. The double pad eliminates the annoying "canyon" between the pads and keeps us more comfortable and warmer as a result. An unexpected benefit of the double-wide size is that it is quieter and more stable than the normal size model. The normal size model has a tendency to shift position a little bit during the night and make a slight crinkling sound as you move. The double version stays in place much better and doesn't seem to make as much noise. I'm guessing this is due to added area of the pad making more contact with the floor of the tent as the material seems identical. We have yet to use it in sub-freezing conditions, but the single version starts to get cool below freezing for us.

Dislikes: Basically none. When Big Agnes builds a lighter model or a warmer one, I'll buy it, but until then, this is the best on the market for us.

So comfortable!!!
Reviewed by Nicholas - October 14, 2018

Likes: We have used this pad down to the mid 20s F and it kept us insulated from the ground. I have stayed in bed until 10am and not been even remotely sore. Sleep on your back, side or belly and be comfy. Less weight than our old single mats. No more waking up on the ground between two mats!

Dislikes: I can stay in bed until 10. Takes a bit of effort to blow up, with the pump house bag.

lightweight and comfy
Reviewed by Bryan D. - October 7, 2018

Likes: I like how light this pad is for a double pad, lighter than most of the competitors and for a better price. I would definitely recommend buying the Big Agnes pump house with it.

Dislikes: it is a little bit noisy.

Compact and comfortable
Reviewed by J M. - October 6, 2018

Likes: Compact
Thick enough to allow you to sleep on your side with out “bottoming out”
Light

Dislikes: None yet!

Most comfortable backcountry sleep ever
Reviewed by Gabriel W. - September 3, 2018

Likes: Extremely comfortable. My partner and I slept flawlessly every night. Great weight/pack size for the comfort level!

Dislikes: Takes a long time to blow up. Recommend buying pumphouse ultra from big agnes to complement.
Difficult to slip pad into sleeping bag sleeve in 2-person tent. Would only be a problem in bad weather.

Only way to go.
Reviewed by Reuben B. - August 8, 2018

Likes: I like that it suspends you off the ground with plenty of room to deflate it to remove pressure points. 3 1/2 inches is one of the thickest ones I've seen and it will be perfect for me and my wife or me by myself at only 2lbs.

Dislikes: I don't like that at $250 it doesn't include a way to inflate it. Didn't take me too long, but hyperventilation stinks lol. These things are all overpriced pool floats anyway.
