Built especially for couples the Big Agnes King Solomon 15 Degree Double-Wide sleeping bag is extra-roomy and extra-comfortable. Insulated with lightweight and compressible water-resistant 600 fill DownTek insulation the bag packs down smaller than most double wide bags making it an option for 3-season backpacking or for family and car camping.

The bag is insulated with 600 fill DownTek insulation. Down insulation has long been renowned for its compressible properties and efficiency in delivering an excellent warmth-to-weight ratio. The shortcoming of down has been its susceptibility to the effects of moisture losing much of its performance qualities when wet or damp. DownTek insulation utilizes nano technology and a proprietary application process to provide water-repellency and both anti-microbial and anti-bacterial protection. A nylon rip-stop shell also features a water repellent treatment and provides lightweight durability.

Insotect Flow technology is used in the King Solomon 15 Degree Double-Wide bag to help eliminate cold spots regulate the movement of down inside the baffles and offer better body heat distribution. Strategically placed Flow Gate construction eliminates lateral and vertical down shifting by using vertical chambers with "gates" to control the position and density of the down insulation.

In a traditional sleeping system the bag lies on top of a sleeping pad. In this configuration many people find themselves rolling off the pad at night. Plus the insulation on the bottom of the bag is compressed by the sleeper's weight. Once compressed the fill loses most of its insulating properties. The Big Agnes System is different joining the bag and pad together. The pad slides into a sleeve on the bottom side of the bag supplying insulation to the bottom of the bag while the top 2/3 of the bag is insulated like a traditional sleeping bag. This design provides a secure foundation so you can roll twist and turn freely during the night without ever rolling off your pad. It also prevents the bag from twisting and engulfing you in an uncomfortable mess.

The King Solomon 15 Degree Double-Wide is designed to be used with any two 20"x72" Big Agnes rectangular sleeping pads (sold separately) or other branded pads with comparable dimensions.

A double wide insulated ergonomic hood draft tubes located along the length of the dual zippers a center no-draft flap and separate insulated neck yokes lock in heat and keep out cold air to enhance warmth and comfort.

The Big Agnes King Solomon 15 Degree Double-Wide fits to 6' and includes a nylon stuff sack and mesh storage sack.

Excellent Doublebag
Reviewed by Brittney R. - August 27, 2018

Likes: Warm, fits 2 great, not heavy, nice material, works great with Big Agnes double air matress

Dislikes: Does not come with compression sack

Great sleeping bag for cool weather camping couples.
Reviewed by Jesse S. - August 6, 2018

Likes: I like the extra shared space in this bag. More legroom, which is much better than a single mummy style bag. Great weight/space savings over carrying two sleeping bags.

Dislikes: This bag is very warm. It won't be great for summer camping.

Warm to freezing temperatures
Reviewed by Bradly H. - July 7, 2018

Likes: Bag is easy to set up, works perfectly with the Big Agnes Q-Core SLX Double. Stayed warm with my girlfriend in low 40's upper 30's. With a couple Nemo fillo pillows a total sleep system weighing in at around 8 pounds total.

Dislikes: It didn't come with a compression sack but two other sacks that I suppose are used for storage.

A great bag - lightweight and warm!

Pad Straps to keep the pad in place

Dislikes: Expensive

Love this bag
Reviewed by Fubeka - June 21, 2018

Likes: Nice and roomy. Love the side zippers instead of the backcountry bed style.

Dislikes: None

Reviewed by David H. - October 8, 2017

Likes: Compact, had built in straps to hold two pads in place. I did not get to test out how it will perform in cold weather but on the trip that I took it on in mild weather it worked well.

Dislikes: The big problem I had with this bag, and why I returned it, is that it smelled. I am guessing I just got the only one ever manufactured that smells but this thing was so bad my wife and I had to air it out for at least three hours a day to be able to get in it at night. I can't imagine how bad it would be if we were using this bag in wet conditions.

Warm feet for the wife.
Reviewed by Jeff S. - July 3, 2017

Likes: Very light bag considering it packs for two, my wife is 5feet 10 inches and I am 6 foot, plenty of shoulder room and not too narrowed at the feet.

Dislikes: Nothing
