- Nice comfort in a small package
Likes: The comfort does amaze me. I am 190 lbs. and chairs are always an issue for me because of back surgery years ago. This one was comfortable enough that I fell asleep at the campfire. I love how the chair assembles and packs up. It's like a little toy :)
Dislikes: After comparing it to one my wife just bought (for half the price), it seems a bit pricey. I'm still giving it 5 stars because it is so comfortable and sturdy.
- Great comfortable camp chairs, worth their weight
Likes: Comfortable, light, pack down reasonably small given their size. I like to pack light, but find it is worth hauling one of these along for each person in the group. Light enough my young kids have to carry their own with their packs:)
Dislikes: Feet sink in to soft dirt / sand - wish they had a greater surface area.
- We are using it for backpacking.
Likes: Very light and useful to have when you need a chair.
Dislikes: Wished it would pack a little smaller.
- Love this chair!
Likes: compact, not too heavy and easy set up. It's perfect for my camping trips and for reading and sketching by the lake. I keep it in my car.
Dislikes: Sometimes in the grass the feet sink into the ground. Only if the ground is really soft though.
- Luxury in a bag
Likes: This chair is so awesome. I've used it quite a few times now and it's made all the difference in my camping and backpacking adventures as well as just a great compact chair to keep in the truck if I'm at my niece's soccer game.
Dislikes: The only complaint I would have is not the chair's fault. It's 2 pounds and causes this load continues guy to squeal a little. But because I have back issues I need it out there. So still a fantastic chair for me to carry and for the price of mind that I'll have good back support while sitting around camp.

Likes: Sturdy and comfortable. Can be used at beach. Tent pole technology works well to create stable platform. This design setup for the legs works better than others.
Dislikes: 2lbs but worth it
- Best backpacking chair for bigger people
Likes: This is the best weight to comfort ratio backpacking chair at the time of this writing. The chair itself weighs approximately 2 lbs and has a weight capacity over 300 lbs. The end of the front poles are 13 inches off the ground so your knees aren’t in your chest.
Dislikes: If I weighed less, I would probably buy the Helinox Chair Zero because it is only 1 lb—that’s the one I bought for my wife. I gave this chair 4 stars because Helinox needs some incentive to make better chairs, but it really is a great chair.
- Wonderful Product
Likes: The chair has a good height for easy access in both sitting down and getting back up. It is extremely lightweight and easy to setup.
Dislikes: Upon first setup the seat material was very tight and took some muscle to setup. I'm hoping that with time it will loosen up a bit and allow me to setup with ease.
- Slightly heavier than claimed, but SO comfortable
Likes: - As comfortable as a living room couch
- Packs away easily, travel bag is large enough for easy stuffing, unlike REI Flex Lite
- Very durable. I purchased this 2 years ago, and used it plenty. Still looks like new.
Dislikes: - Weighs 938g on my scale (33.1oz)
- If you try one, you'll buy one.
Likes: This is the one "luxury" item I bring with me in the backcountry. My buddies initially scoffed at the idea of bringing a chair, but when they were sitting on a wet log or the ground and I wasn't..... They have all since purchased a Helinox of their own. I'm 185 lbs and it holds me with no problem. Being able to get off your feet after a long day is a huge benefit.
Dislikes: Takes up extra room in the pack. It's a little larger than a standard roll of paper towel.
