The ultra-lightweight Big Agnes Air Core SL inflatable sleeping pad is ideal for ounce-counting backpackers and thru-hikers. Designed primarily for summer or warm-weather use, the Air Core SL pad packs down small and takes up little space inside your backpack.
The Air Core SL pad's super-lightweight nylon top and bottom have internal polyurethane coatings for waterproof protection. The I-beam construction and durable inflation valve allow the Air Core SL pad to reach full inflation more quickly and easily than standard inflatable pads. This inflatable construction also allows the pad to pack down small and ensures a light packed weight.
Available in rectangular or mummy shapes and a variety of sizes, each Big Agnes Air Core SL inflatable sleeping pad includes a stuff sack and a repair kit. NOTE: Always store the pad unrolled with the valve open.

Likes: The pad is thick, light weight, warm, and comfortable. Can be a slick if you place a sleeping bag on top of it. Worked well with my big agnes gunn creek bag.
Dislikes: I found that the sl q-core is a bit more slender on the shoulders than your stander q-core. My shoulders are wide so while sleeping on the pad with no bag in the summer found it hard to get comfortable on my back as my shoulders would hang off a bit too much. Did a side by side of the sl and standard q-core. More support with the standard q-core than the sl. If you have wide shoulders get the regular q-core a bit heavy but more supportive.

Likes: This Mattress is very comfortable. I think the chevron channels add to the comfort as the air does not seem to get displaced all the way to the bottom and top as it does with longitudinal channels as you compress the mattress in the middle (I like to use it not fully inflated). Very light weight for the comfort
Dislikes: It's a little noisy if you change position from back to side, not a big issue though
