Utilizing high-performance carbon fiber shafts Black Diamond Alpine Carbon Cork trekking poles are lightweight easy-to-adjust and equipped with tactile cork grips.

Far easier to adjust than the internal locking mechanisms used by many telescoping poles sturdy FlickLock Pro external locks are ideal for use in all conditions and seasons. Black Diamond's FlickLock system couldn't be much simpler. Even if you're wearing gloves it's a cinch to open the lock with a flip of your finger slide the pole section to the required length and tap the lock back into place.

Cork grips serve as contoured comfortable handholds and additional lengths of foam padding extend far down the upper pole sections allowing you to adjust where you grasp the poles without having to shorten or extend the poles each time you encounter a steep slope or side hill traverse. Padded adjustable webbing straps help to reduce stress on your wrists.

Press-fit Flex Tech Tips have integrated low-profile trekking baskets that provide backcountry traction. The WaveLock construction of the Flex Tech Tips allows you to choose between interchangeable carbide and rubber tip (sold separately) ends for optimal performance on varying terrain.

Sold in pairs Black Diamond Alpine Carbon Cork trekking poles offer a usable adjustment range of 30"-51" and together weigh just 17 ounces.

Itchy hands!
Reviewed by L.R. - January 13, 2019

Likes: My partner used these poles on a 300-mile hike during the summer and said that they were sturdy and light, but that his hands became overwhelmingly itchy when the cork grips got wet.

Dislikes: We read other reviews that mentioned a possible reaction to the cork grips.
Had to return them.

Great trekking poles that I would buy again
Reviewed by Jeremy A. - August 16, 2018

Likes: Great build quality, comfortable and ergonomic, light, and a good warranty.

Dislikes: Would be nice if they could somehow collapse even smaller.

Great adjustability, light weight
Reviewed by Paul M. - August 14, 2018

Likes: Very adjustable and very lightweight. Have used both a single pole and in pairs.

Dislikes: The thinnest section is somewhat loose at its shortest length due to the fact that lower lock has a minimum width. Minor annoyance.

Great Lightweight Poles
Reviewed by Ryan H. - August 6, 2018

Likes: Really lightweight
Cork grips feel very nice
Quick releases are very solid
Overall great build quality.

Dislikes: The lower quick release cannot be closed unless the bottom section of the pole is extended about an inch.

Likes: Work well, don't break etc

Dislikes: Cheaper options with same quality

Great Trekking Poles
Reviewed by Amanda S. - July 18, 2018

Likes: I've been going on moderate to difficult hikes once a week for the past two months. On the harder hikes, the backs of my knees were screaming on the way down from summits. I was in so much pain. I used these poles for the first time two weekends ago and I immediately noticed a difference, especially on the way down. I did not have the level of immediate pain I had been experiencing and I had no stiffness or soreness the next day. These helped take the pressure off my joints immensely.

Dislikes: I wish there was a way to take the loops off the handles. They are kind of a nuisance but I can live with them.
