Likes: Decent dessert
Dislikes: The instructions on the website are different than the instruction on the package. That being said, if you just add boiling water like a normal meal vs. cooking it in a pan it still tastes alright and works o.k.
Likes: Very tasty.
Dislikes: The only reason I'm not giving it the full 5 stars is because it can be a little messy to prepare if you only have a small ultralight cookware set (basically 1 pot to boil water). This food requires you to boil water but also finish it off in a non-stick pan. With one pot, I had to be transferring the delicious, but sticky concoction from pot to package, and then back to pot.
Dislikes: Way too complicated for backpacking.
Likes: dessert always tastes good
Dislikes: you always want more
Likes: Taste like the real thing and of course fast and light to pack.
Likes: very good
Dislikes: I have no complants
Likes: QUICK DESERT FOR THE KIDS
Likes: This backpacking dessert tastes great, but after many times making this, it is really a special occasion dessert due to the time and effort involved.
Dislikes: Lots of time and attention to make. Messy, sticky clean-up. Don't expect it to look great, although it does taste good.
Likes: A bit of a chore to make. A pot is needed and there are a couple of packets to deal with. Tasty treat with good flavor.
Dislikes: Good flavor and a tasty dessert, but I am not sure it is worth the effort to me. There is a bit of extra clean-up when done since the pot will have the gooey apple filling dried and stuck the the sides. Don't expect it to look like the package. More likely you will just mix it all up and eat it from the pot. I usually only make this as a treat for when my young kids are along.
