- Good value
Likes: Specifically backpacking-oriented travel duffel that is very reasonably priced.
Dislikes: Haven't used it yet but I heard you need to place your pack in this duffel right before you check it since it's supposed to be hard to carry with just the one shoulder strap.
- great on first impression
Likes: -packs down to a compact size
Dislikes: -still figuring out how to make the most out of the single strap (have not actually used it yet on a flight)
-i got the small and it could actually be slightly smaller lol
-there could be an ID window (what if in baggage pickup, there are many people with the same airporter travel duffel, since osprey is probably a very well known hiking/outdoor companies?)
- Osprey Airporter- large
Likes: Very durable! This bag is designed to cover your backpack for the purpose of transporting, as in airline bag check. It is supplied with one shoulder strap. Two would be over kill for the temporary handling and a potential hazard for airline bag check in. Large is too big and baggy for a packed Osprey Xenith 75. Medium is a better fit for that pack.
- Has done a great job of protecting my bag while in transit.
Likes: How small it packs down.
Dislikes: It can be a bit baggy if your bag is not fully packed.
- Exactly what you need
Likes: Perfect for flying!
Dislikes: Wish there was a way you could lock the zipper
- Great Buy
Likes: Very spacious, light, durable
Dislikes: Loose feeling if you don't fully fill
- Traveling with pack
Likes: Gives extra protection so latches don’t get broken
- Great for plane travel
Likes: every time I check a suitcase on an airline when I finally go to baggage claim to pick it up its always scuffed and beat up. I was worried about this happening to my trekking pack as I try to be gentle with it. The travel duffel works just like it says it does and protects my bag from all the scuffs that happen during transit.
Dislikes: nothing really, could use two shoulder straps but its not really meant to be used outside of keeping your backpack safe on a plane.
- Decent backpack travel cover
Likes: - Easily fits 70L backpack
- Sturdy material
Dislikes: - 1lb weight is a little inconvenient to carry around if you do lots of overland traveling between flights
- Strap is not very comfortable to carry the duffel. I really use the duffel just to put my backpack on a plane. I would not use it to carry it around.
- Light and Strong
Likes: Does exactly what it’s meant to do with a very light weight.
