A lightweight and highly-breathable option for backcountry adventure, the adidas Outdoor Men’s Terrex Fast Mid GTX-Surround hiking boot is intended to keep you dry and moving forward.
A synthetic upper is a nice balance of durability and breathability. An over-the-ankle cut provides supportive stability without the bulk or stiffness of a traditional boot. An extended-length protective tongue increases comfort and helps to keep out debris. Innovative GORETEX Surround construction fends off moisture and employs a bellows action to push warm air out of the interior of the boot that helps to ensure that you stay dry, cool, and comfortable. A lightweight speed-lacing system allows you to dial in fit and stays secure even while you are on the move.
A molded sockliner further enhances comfort and fit. The lugged Continental rubber outsole is highly durable and provides excellent traction on varied surfaces.
Sold in pairs, the adidas Outdoor Men’s Terrex Fast Mid GTX-Surround hiking boot is available in men's full and half sizes.

Real Customer Reviews
- Fantastic Boots
Likes: Waterproof, ultra light, durable, stable, good support, and feet don't sweat.
Dislikes: The style is a bit modern, but it works. Boots look less like the promo pictures, mostly black. They look great, which I didn't expect.
- Excellent Lightweight Boot
Likes: Very lightweight, no break-in, comfortable, very grippy, waterproof. Overall, exactly what I was looking for in that it's light, synthetic and rugged with low/moderate ankle support.
Dislikes: Only waterproof to the bottom of the ankle - the tongue should have been enclosed all the way to the top to make it a better boot. The cord that you cinch to tighten is thin and so is the material between it and your foot, so if you want a tight fit and more ankle support, that cord will dig into you a bit. The materials look mostly welded or glued, I'm not sure yet how that will hold up over time... My experience in other shoes layers glued on without stitching is that they begin to peel off sooner or later.
- Comfortable shoes with good cushionishing while still being light
Likes: Lightweight, waterproof, continental sole
Dislikes: Doesn't cater to a wide foot
