This is the Swift Flex Cap from Mountain Hardwear. It’s a durable, ball cap style. All of the materials on this hat are meant to be quick-drying and manage moisture well. It’s got a very stiff brim and it’s got a wide brim so it’s going to cut down on sun in the eyes. And you can see the underside of the brim is a dark color so this also cuts down on glare if you’re fishing or on a boat over water, or maybe even snow where you’d get a lot of sun glare. The side of the cap is a stiffened material, but the top of the cap is more of an open mesh so it’s going to breathe well. The inside of the cap is lined with the same lightweight material and you’ve got a Coolmax sweatband that runs around the inside to keep moisture from running into your eyes. Now this is a more durable, heavier hat. It’s going to be perfect for hiking year-round, maybe running in the spring and the fall. It’s giving full coverage of the head and offers a nice, snug fit. The back of the hat has an adjustable tab with a buckle – easy on and off and a reflective tab. If you’re looking for a do-it-all, year-round hat for running, hiking, biking or paddling, check out Mountain Hardwear’s Swift Flex Cap.
