Hi, and welcome to Backcountry Edge. I'm Liz and I'd like to introduce you to Marmot sleeping bags. Very lightweight and very compressible, this is the Atom by Marmot. It's a great summer weight bag if you are the sort of person who hikes a lot in summer temperatures but you don't want to carry a fleece bag; you don't want the bulk that comes with fleece. If you have concerns that the temperature may drop you might need something that works if it's a little bit colder. It's got a hood on it and your feet are going to be nice and snugly insulated and your going to want to take a closer look at this bag. The Atom is packed with 850+ fill power European goose down and Marmot uses a stretch tricot baffle design in the foot box and the hood. This allows the bag to be stuffed and unstuffed repeatedly without any tears happening to the baffle. They also use a sewn-through baffle construction which over all lightens the weight of the bag tremendously. Extra, extra small stuff sack. So while I'm stuffing this I stuff from the foot box to the hood that way the air in the bag moves out of the bag, out through the hood, and I don't have to fight with it. There you go.
