Hey, it's Matt Maxfield here from Klymit. We're outside of our office talking about the Inertia X Frame. We want to talk about some of its great benefits. If you're already familiar with it, it's lightweight, compact and comfortable. But today we're going to talk about durability. Typically on ultralight camping pads, they sacrifice durability for weight. They're using lighter fabrics to give up durability. With most pads, they'll burst in about 2.5 psi. Your mouth will put out about a 1.5 psi so when the full pad is pumped up, you can risk popping it by plopping down on it hard or if you're on a rough terrain. The Inertia X Frame is very durable. The bottom fabric is made of a 75 Denier fabric which is a very durable fabric that we haven't had to give up with our patent-pending design and features. Let's pump this up by mouth and show you how durable it is. I've got my pressure gauge here so we'll show what a mouth inflate gives you. This is what I was able to do with just mouth inflating – just over 1 psi. Let me pull out my air pump and get it to where I like to sleep. For me, 25 pumps is about right. It's dialed for my weight. So I just finished with my dry air pump and I'm at about 2.5 psi. This is where I like to sleep on the pad – it's most comfortable for me. You may find a little more, a little less is right for you. Now let's take it up to 4 psi to show durability. Let's take a look at the pressure now. Okay now let's test durability. Now the reason this is important is because durability is reliability. A durable pad means you won't wake up in the middle of the night on the ground. You want to be able to sleep comfortably all night long. Let's take a look at the durability of the pad pumped up to 4 psi. I've got my hiking shoes on here – a lot of good tread. We're on the rocks here. But let me just take a good jump on it and see. As you can see, other than a little bit of mud, my pad is still fully inflated and I would reliably sleep on this all night long.
