The Soloist Glove from Black Diamond is a two-piece glove. The outer shell is made out of a lightweight, four-way stretch nylon with reinforcements on the tips of the fingers of goat skin leather which wraps around to the palm side. You do have an attachment point here where you can clip your gloves off to your climbing rig or if you’re ice climbing you can use it as a drying loop. The back side of the wrist has a single pull adjustment so you can cinch the glove down. The palm is made from smooth, goat skin leather and you do have a soft nose wipe on the back of the thumb. The back of the glove has a single pull gauntlet to tighten the glove down over the top of your jacket. The inner liner for the Soloist Glove has good dexterity to it and is insulated with PrimaLoft One and attaches to the outer shell, around the full outside wrist, by velcro. This helps it stay put and in place when it is inside the shell of the glove.
