The Osprey Verve 7 is a women’s hydration pack. It’s perfect for day hikes, mountain biking or trail racing. It’s a lightweight pack, very small and fits very securely to the back. There’s a lightweight waistbelt with a clip. There’s a really nice hydration bladder that comes with this pack – Osprey’s HydraForm reservoir. You get a locking mouth piece with a nice bite valve. And what’s even more convenient is this magnetic clip that makes it simple to put it back in place. Sternum strap and lightweight adjustable, comfortable harness on this pack. As you can see, this thing’s pretty small, very lightweight. There’s not a whole lot of room here. There’s a larger pocket on the inside – enough room for me to throw a pair of mittens or some energy gels. On the front, top pocket, there’s a very little space to throw a headlamp in there it’d be perfect for a cell phone as well or a GPs unit. The outside of this pack has a very lightweight bungee system. There’s enough room there that you could throw a lightweight rain shell in there. Maybe even throw a bike pump in there and cinch it down. It does hold it snugly. The backside of the Verve 7 has this nice mesh. There’s a bit of a stiff frame to that and that HydraForm reservoir is also adding to that. We’ll take a look at the in a second. At the top here, a Velcro tab opens up, gives you accessibility to that reservoir. I don’t have much water in this right now, but it has a very stiff frame to it, which allows it to ride comfortably against your back. It doesn’t dig into your pack when tis full. It fits in there nice and snug. One of the other fantastic features that Osprey put on this pack is this lid lock system. So, if you’re cycling and need a place to put your helmet or if you’re switching from cycling to running, there’s a tab here that you can easily pull through and locks the helmet down. It’s very secure, a very safe place to carry the helmet when it’s not in use. Again, this is the Osprey Verve 7, it’s a women’s-specific pack. It’s very comfortable. There’s a different design in the yoke that fits well around a woman’s neck with a smaller shoulder set.
